For Sale: Massive Collection. Have a Look!
I have come to the point where I have reached my critical mass of storing my Lego collection. Thus, I am interested in separating with most of my spares.
I came out of my Dark Ages in 2005, and went on a buying spree for some years, or eight. For many of the sets I purchased, I bought 2 of each (one to open, and one to keep locked away for a rainy day). As it turns out, my wife and I are hoping for our second child soon and there is just no reason (a.k.a. room in the house) to keep all the extra sets I've collected.
Most of my sets from 2005 on were bought new from the Lego Store. They have been stored in closets in my house (not attic). No smoking. No dogs. Cared for by me. Some box conditions are better than others. To be honest I had no idea how fast and how big this collecting thing would become, so I had to get creative with storage.
I have spent a good amount of time going through Bricklink and placing value on my sets. I have decided to make my prices quite competitive, with nearly all my prices at or below BL avg. sold prices.
I do not have the supplies and dedication of a reseller, so I would like to set my aim high and sell as many items to as few people as possible (In an effort to cut down postal runs, packing, and of course time). I would LOVE to work out some local sales. I live in Orange County, Southern CA. I would be willing to meet anyone in the Southland.
Brickset is my first attempt to unload these sets, while avoiding the formalities of BL for the time being. I will be going on vacation beginning August 13th, returning August 24th. My BL store will reopen some time after that. Also, until my return home, I will be unable to complete (quote postage or ship) any sales.
Also, I have been with eBay since 2002 and Bricklink since 2005, both with the username Nelly7072.
