    ^I like the Pillars. Nice. The store I get gas from has these big plastic animals set up to the side. People coming off the interstate like to pose for pictures with them.

    I finished my 8635 tonight. Absolutely love it. Really really brilliant set.
    I've got all my Agents assembled together at the moment. And got my eye on some additions :-)

    I am working on the VW set 10220. However, I taking my time with 30 min builds each night. It will probably take me some time before I complete it :-D

    @LostInTranslation- Great job, I love Agents sets to. The color scheme is awesome and the figures are superb IMO, probably my favorite theme of 2008-2009, its really to bad it was discontinued soon. I still have a few sets on my wanted list as well. Happy building :-)

    My son got one of the smaller TLR sets, which triggered (haha) me to try making some Western sets from collection. I made #6761 (on a City curved roadplate) which was very well received (probably helped that I played w/ it too!) & attempting #6755 & #6799 soon. My kids cant wait thru the time it takes me to inventory/find the pieces. I discovered one of my co-worker's hauls I bought has the unique horse yoke.

    What bugs me is I had a chance to buy a discounted Gold City Junction not even a year ago & I declined. :(

    ^I built the Western theme bank (sorry, can't remember set no.) out of pieces from my collection (with a few alterations - colour changes, etc), and it worked really well. It's very recognisable, even in a different colour.
    I also built the covered wagon, but that wasn't so successful, as the 'cover' I made was just too floppy.

    I have just had a week off work, so I saved up some of my purchases to build during my holiday, so this week I have built, small cottage, summer riding camp, and seaside house, just mini modulars left... I also sorted through a huge bag of random lego bought off fleabay, and I also managed to pick up a second fire brigade, so plan to rebuild both into one unit. I have also found time to tidy and sort out my lego room a little in preparation for my next builds. All in all I have a superb holiday, with lots of building and sorting - bliss. I do not want to go back to work, but continue with this building spree.

    I built the "medium difficulty" build on the new Creator treehouse - it's a cool little build with a pizza oven and a mossy roof. I think it'd be a good companion piece to the Creator seafood restaurant from #5770 and the little drink shack from #7346.

    I have a few spare HF brain creatures, aiming for one of each colour at the moment, so thought it would be cool if I built some sort of development tower that they can latch on to when they're not invading my other models :-)

    Although the brains are HF, the tower is built of mainly System plus Technic, and has room to store 8 brains. 181 bricks including the brains. If you want it, I can provide an LDD file, and the bricks (98% available from PaB here in the UK) cost about £20 (excluding brains) to order from S@H UK. 8 bricks are only obtainable from S@H PaB.

    Let me guess...the brain is a mobile parasite that attaches itself to its victims. When it attaches, it plugs into the central nervous system allowing it to take control of its victim body like a marionette. Quite morbid, isn't it? Didn't know Lego had it in them.

    ^ Believe it or not, it's very similar to that, Lego just doesn't do it in a gruesome way. The brains latch on to a creature (note no humans here!) and they take control of it to do evil things. If you're really interested, may I suggest you look up 'Hero Factory Brain Attack' on the internet. There's probably a storyline on one of the websites.
    Also take time to browse the pictures of the creatures here in the Brickset database, such as this set: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=44003-1
    I can't believe they aim something that looks that creepy at 6 year olds! And the whole concept of brain parasites: must be one of the the creepiest sub-themes of this decade so far imo!
    The theme tune they made for the web videos also sounds really creepy! :-)

    But I guess Lego themes are getting creepier, what with Monster Fighters and that...
    And it's all fantasy, so I guess that makes it more acceptable.

    They must be putting out the summer Chima early where you are, the release date for those hasn't even come yet, but must be good indication that they're finally coming out! Ha, I can't even find them in the UK yet, who am I kidding!

    @murphquake That's a really cool Lone Ranger showpiece. Is that a DeLorean at the bottom in the diorama? Quirky addition, I like it ;-)

    As for me, I'm currently working on a Lego version of the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, because I like music. Not a big model though.

    @theoneveyronian @brickdancer, thanks! @rancorbait, I like to think it's more of a cutaway of the mountain... I had a vague plan then just started building. Yes the delorean is from Cody Wells @c3brix c3brix.com the whole thing was his idea when we saw the TLR mine set, and it ties in with BTTF getting released. I've got figs from about 8 themes in there and plans to bring by a few more... Actually the delorean is so big it took up a lot of space that was gonna be used for easter eggs... But i've got the I LUG NY trademark dead stormtrooper (sandtrooper actually) in there so I'm happy

    Just finished the Malevolence (#9515) and the Sith Fury-class interceptor (#9500). Have a couple UCS ones to build, so starting with the Super Star Destroyer (#10221). Excited!!

    I've worked at it a couple evenings a couple hours each, and only finished Book 1 of the instructions. This has got to be one of the most intricate sets I've built since rediscovering LEGO.

    I don't mind that it is taking so long as I am enjoying the experience. Had to pause a few days now as hard to schedule a block of time this week.

    An incomplete Republic Dropship with AT-OT, this thing is massive, a lot bigger than I expected from a non UCS set. This was a really enjoyable build (well, if we don't count the times I've been searching for the bloody missing parts that is). Added the mini ones in the picture.

    Just built 21004 BTTF DeLorean today and love it, it's so much better in real life than in any of the pics. They just don't do it justice.

    ^ Non-official doesn't bother me when it is something well done and especially when it is something LEGO will never do. Have another one now I'm going to be collecting parts for and I really wish I could get instructions for the big Wall-E moc that someone did.

    Finally got around to picking up the 10218 Pet Shop and am on a slow day 2 of building it. There are some lovely little details that made me think "why am I putting this part here?" while building but look amazing when finished.

    Lone Ranger sets, the Silver Mine Shootout is done and the Colby City Showdown awaits my attention this evening. I am hoping to pick up the Constitution Train Chase at the AFOL Shopping event (along with many other items) to complete my Lone Ranger collection. I am very impressed by these models it has to be said...

    @emilewski After all the mapping, it took about a day per baseplate and collecting ALOT of plates lol. Still waiting on a couple of orders with dark tan plates. That will cover up most of the grey areas left open plus waiting on some 1x1plates I ran out of, reddish brown, dark red and red

    Got an old set out of the garage to crack open for the first time, built it with my 5 year old (I ended up doing most of the building).

    My son absolutely loves it, the build was actually better then I excepted it to be with some good varied building techniques & pieces, the base of the ship is actually a bunch of technic beams and pins and as is quite often the case with Lego sets the finished model is bigger then I would have thought.

    The classic space man statue is awesome.

    Just built #41006. It's soooo cute. I love it, it'll look fab next to the café. In fact I think it's my favourite Friends set since the café, got the same funky retro vibe.

    Just put together Jabba's Palace and the Rancor Pit. Very disappointed with the way they went together, as in you can't open the gate with the palace on top. Saw some great custom builds to fix this but that's above my pay grade...
