I just acquired some loose parts and going through them I think I will be able to make 4-5 sets from various themes....but this piece is something which has me bummed out...help me identify this piece so I can then download the instructions accordingly....

Ahhh no wonder as the mix bricks also had just one top half of the Droid :P thanks a lot @CCC, but can you tell me how you were able to quickly identify this apart from the fact you have this set with you?

I don't have the set - I'm not into clone wars.

But I know it is a "Brick, round" piece. There are only 40 types on BL. So it is quick to spot which type it is - 58846. Then a search for 58846* shows there are only 23 decorated parts (inc. stickers). So it can be found very quickly.

That is how I normally identify parts.

^ There is a slope with the number 2: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3298pb11 - I found that by going to the "Slope, decorated"-category on Bricklink, and search for "number"-

Then there is some sort of bionicle foot: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=62386 - found by searching for "foot", but ofcourse you have to know that it is used as a foot.

And finally a spoiler of some sort - found by searching for "spoiler": http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=61073

I've only written how I found the parts, so you might improve your own search-skills - you are more than welcome to continue askine here, we are all more than happy to show of our own skills :)

Hi there

I'm having a hard time identifying these two models, i know they have been modified but it's just a bit, the main shape is the same, the helicopter I found a close one, but the color pieces don't match. Maybe there are pieces from another set?

I'd appreciate your help very much.

Thank you very much! it seems that is from 6518-1 (Inv) Baja Buggy and the other chopper is from 6664. But the boat still remains unknown :(

The boat doesn't show up on BrickLink under sets that used the trans-blue windscreen. It is somewhat similar to #6596, though.

Any idea to what these are? They are heavy like there is a weight inside,I don't think they are magnetic.

I can't help smiling :) They are boat weights used for keel-less boats in the 1990s. The weight keeps the boat from flipping over in the water.

Due to popular demand from over at the What's your LEGO 'status' today thread, I've decided to upload a better quality pic (or two) of the bulk lego lot I recently purchased to Flickr and open up a little friendly competition. The person who can identify the most sets from the bulk lot will win a mystery polybag shipped to them for free. I imagine this being a rapid fire as once a set has been identified by somebody they get a point.
