I kept holding back...knowing I wanted it. Did really good for awhile...I mean I'm probably out $1000 in the last couple months.

Guess I'll be begging forgiveness again. Bought #42000 to get the Jor-El

So, what is the point of this thread? (Not trying to be rude, just genuinely curious.)

If you wanted one so badly why not just buy one on Brick Link or Ebay for around $15?

Is this available for $15 @Renny?

^ Yes, here's an example (not my auction as I don't have a single Jor-El, yet):

As you have said yourself, there is no point to this discussion. I'll close it, as this isn't a personal blog, we only really encourage topics which generate some interesting discussion. Thanks for your co-operation.

I'm not meaning to come across as pedantic, but it's worth noting that it usually doesn't take much to make a thread conform. For example, the following are less like personal announcements and encourage discussion: "Did you make a superfluous purchase just to get a free Jor-El?" "What methods are you employing to obtain Jor-El?"
