Found a super discounted #7956 ewok attack at target today. 93.8% off! This set was way overpriced to begin with, but I'm excited!

I'd be happy to find that at my local Target for RRP.

As for the most discounted: During this year's after-Christmas clearance at Wal-Mart, someone posted here that they found #7965 for $5.00, which is ~96% off.

Best I ever found was 75% for some poly bags

I can't beat that but I can match it as I picked up a #9442 Jay's Storm Fighter for the same price from a Target in Phoenix, AZ a couple of days ago. You gotta love Target. :)

That's pretty good. 75% off is my best of late. £40 set for £10.

a few years I was paid to take Duplo away from Tesco. A Duplo Lightning McQueen was priced on the shelf at £4.75 and went through at £13. They do something called double the difference if they mis-price the shelf price to the cashier price.

So in this case the item was £4.75 on the shelf and went through at £13, they gave me £8.25 back plus another £8.25 due to the over payment. In total i got the Duplo, my money back and an extra £3.50 :)

It doesn't happen very often but makes me smile when it does. :)))

Hahaha that was actually me. Also picked up the 2012 Batcave, Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter and Republic Striker-class Starfighter for $5 as well.

My best find to date is $5 for the 2012 star wars advent. Previous best was 15 for the Atlantis Hq.

I love "as is" deals at Target! Got a DS Lite for $12 a month or two ago. Never had anything wrong with them either.

    Nice find!

Let me guess? You found it at the Target at 27th ave and the 101 in Phoenix? If so, it's because i was working there, and i found it and gave it to price change because it wasn't in our system anymore.

I've found 90% off at Target before, but only on polybags. 75% off is otherwise the best I've found, but that is rare as well.

50% off is much easier to find. :)

The best deal I found percentage-wise was 2 Friends polybags for $.50 each (87.5% off). I rarely see discount bigger than 50% off at Target. Most sets are pretty much gone when they are 30% off

my best was 60% for the ultimate batmobile and in germany discounts >20% are rare as hell to get...

90% off on minifigure magnet sets (before they were glued) and key chains from LEGO when they had their Canada only discount mix-up a few years ago on May 4th.... they also had 75% off 10179 and 10195, ordered 10 of each, but they limited it to 2.

Well, his profile says NC, so someone in Phoenix better check if yours is still there. ha

That takes me back. Wasn't that when you first joined this community, buying hundreds of polybags from Target? :o)

Great minds think alike. More employees like yourself should mark them down to ridiculous prices. :D

I just got a Ghost Train for $27 which is about 64% off. Not quite as excited as I was for the #4842 I got for $45 (65% off) last year. I think those are my personal bests.

    Which Target in Phoenix?

@MorkMan It was the store at 101/Frank Lloyd Wright. I guess not actually Phoenix but Scottsdale.

Not really a discount as such, but I got a completely free MMV from [email protected] to apologise for an epic series of blunders that messed up my account.
  • BrikingBriking Member Posts: 768
^ They've still got MMV in stock ??

The absolute best deals I have found were at Kmart. I once found #7571 Fight for the Dagger for $1.00 (originally $29.99), so that was about 96.6% off. There was even some commotion at checkout because no one could believe it was that low until a manager verified.

I thought I could never top that, but I later found #3843 Ramses Pyramid on the shelf that scanned as "check shelf price", so I took it to customer service, and they asked $0.99 for it (originally $29.99). However, they had one of their "20% clearance price" sales, so it actually rang up at $0.79, which worked out to be about 97.3% off!

#7498 Police Station for $15 and bought 3 of them. 85% off.

I got a whole load of different sets including anakin's intercepter and the city heavy lift helicopter for about 2/3 off. I think the interceptor was 6.50 euro and the heavy lift was 15 euro (shelf price was 52 euro but that seems a bit high). I also got a couple of forest police sets, ninjago and dino sets all the same discount. This was a while back however.

I also got the fire temple from amazon at about 60% off too, 39.99 GBP that was.

    Do I win a Brickset T-shirt?
