I've been awaiting a shipment of Pick-a-Brick pieces to finish my parking lot behind the de-winterized Winter Village post office, toy store and bakery, plus a Fitness place I designed from a cannabilized Hogwarts castle. The parking lot will include a space for an ATM (soon to be burglarized), an area for skateboarders and a pocket park using the new Springtime collection, #40052.

^^He does, he has a UCS Deathstar II #10143. One episode you see him building it. In another regarding his mysterious absences throughout parts of the day with a clue that it's connected to the #43, referencing him taking 2 years to build it.
  • dejavudejavu Member Posts: 235
^^ Aha! I remember that second episode, about the absences.

I am delighted to be getting closer and closer to a 100% complete Star Wars Minifigure collection, only six more Minifigures to go, three of which are on their way to me in the post. However, one of those I am still looking for is the Cloud City Lando Calrissian, and that will be rather expensive to get hold of!

@CapnRex101- Stalk eBay. They go for, in auction, $60-$70 sometimes. That's a steal of a price compared to buy it nows and BL prices. Don't rush and spend $30 more when you don't need too.

Congrats on almost having the SW minifigure line complete, not many can say that!

After visiting London and the Tower Bridge for the first time last week I am now trying to resist buying TB in Lego. If Amazon puts it on sale again though I will cave instantly

Filled the 2 Easter days reorganizing, several sets that where in plastic boxes moved to zipbags. Also checked and built Vikings 7021 and found time to write review.

Excited to finally have the NY little yellow taxi, as well as a NY minifig magnet. Now if I can get a NY minifig keychain I'll be really happy.

Photographing my street of Creator houses, complete with garbage pick-up day, then gradually tearing it down. Wish I had a better camera.

    Breaking down sets for parts.

Didn't want to muddle any of my Technic sets up, but did want to have a go a building some of the engineering examples in Sariel's 'Unofficial Lego Technic Builders Guide' book, so rather extravagantly bought an 'extra' #8110 Unimog and #8403 Excavator.
Have spent the past couple of evenings sorting out parts into (what I hope are) logical groupings and bagging them up.

    Gearbox building awaits!

@binaryeye I know how you feel about Star Wars. I used to watch the prequels as a kid and then got out of it...but then as a super secret special I received the Death Star...and whaddo ya know? I hadn't seen the OT then but then I just got hooked back and decided to watch/rewatch all 6 movies and then I got ALL of the Star Wars sets.. so it just goes to show you what nostalgia LEGO can bring...

I just determined I need only ~$35 worth of parts (sans shipping) to build Mike Psiaki's X-Wing. I see several BrickLink orders in my future.

Very happy checked my bank account and realised I had more money (than sense). So decided to buy the grand emporium, Last Heroica game I need (with free Chima poster and Sopwith) then the wife decided to buy the pet shop (modular) police pack and again free Sopwith and Chima poster

Lots of double points to add to the growing number.

May have to convice the wife to get the City Hall as well.

Working at my old workplace today (long story), & spotted that The Book People were due in this afternoon, so splurged and bought 4 copies of the Lego DC Universe Batman Visual Dictionary for £4 each - more than worth it for the Batman figure alone!
  • BrikingBriking Member Posts: 768
Waiting on my #10228 HH and base plate to arrive from [email protected] (shipped today) and my PAB order (still to be dispatched) so i can start on the modular un-haunting project. If I'd left the order a few days I would have had free P&P. On the other hand, now I don't have to wait quite as long :-)
  • dejavudejavu Member Posts: 235
Putting together #9348. I needed more peeps for my modular main street.

It's my birthday! - and my sweet colleague bought me a Lego ice cube tray and a £10 gift card from the Watford store. (she went in to the store, said " do you know Carl? What would he like?" & they told her I was a regular PaB buyer, so suggested the gift card. It's nice to have a reputation!) :-)

@dejavu - Wow, I don't envy you for having to put all those back with their respective sets (assuming that is how you display your sets)!
  • dejavudejavu Member Posts: 235
I've decided not to put my minifigs back into the sets (and I do store my sets otherwise complete). I'm still trying to figure out the best way to store things, but since I enjoy taking a basic set, such as the Hillside House, #5771, and doing variations on them, then it's great to be able to see all my minifigs at once, to deploy as needed. I'm still working on improving the minifig display, too. Plus I just got two more minifigs today - the sleepy boy from Series 6, and the artist from Series 4.

Rec'd the movie star from Series 4 minifigs today. Tearing down the Pet Shop, planning to do a variation on it later.

Package arrived today with toys for my son's birthday (my wife ordered them). She had to add in a little something for me - Vampyre Hesrse - in order to qualify for free shipping. Nice surprise
  • HobHob Member Posts: 223
Gave in and bought the 14kgs of Lego. Had a quick look and found most the parts for #6350 plus over 60 minifigs so far.

Today, I sorted out my bricks. Freeing up about half the space in my assorted brick tote. I started last week at the Lego store opening up in St Louis, and this friday is the store opening as well as payday. Pick a brick wall, here I come!
