@murphquake and @starfailure, I agree. The mothership was oddly fun to build. A strange satisfaction overcame me when I had that set finished. Ok, time to stop by KMart again to see if any sets showed up out of the back storage room...

The mothership rocks! I got three of them at various deep clearance prices. It was a fun build, had an awesome spinning feature, and made an awesome parts pack.

Just came back from Stockton, CA's Kmart on Mariposa. The following still available, not all the best in shape:
    1x Tie Fighter
    2x Motherships
    5x Mining Trucks
    1x Triceratops Trapper
    Several SW planets
    Several HF - Black Phantom

Looks like the 50% clearance is going on again this week. :D
At least it is in Stockton & Lodi, CA. Not much to see here though. A couple of small Friends sets.

I think people are underestimating the AC Mothership. Will it be an Emerald Night? No way, but for $30 on clearance, you get (at least) circle of narrow gauge track a sound brick, lots of trans-lime pieces, a clinger! and a unique, awesome minifig (and other stuff).

Heck, you can get $20 for the commander minifig alone.

One bionicle Batman set for $6 and a few AC Motherships for $27.

Series 3 Marvel M*B* blind bags for $1, if you are a Marvel fan, though a dollar is pushing it for those. Talk about bad execution of a franchise! I am sure glad both comic systems are with LEGO now, and look forward to a LEGO Silver Surfer one day.

It has to be just that store they only do this a few times a year.

I can confirm it at 3 kmarts in St. Louis. Nothing worth picking up though.

I figured the same. I actually bought some clearance sticker items 3 days ago assuming it couldn't possibly hit any time soon being only a couple weeks ago. Thankfully, they let me return & rebuy the items.

Wow...Anyone know if this is K-mart policy?
Typically with clearance once you walk out with it its yours.

I checked the two stores closest to me...and yes they have the 50% off clearance items again. Only problem is that its all the same stuff they for sale last month. I scanned the LEGO in the isle and didnt find anything extra....I will check the one a little further out and see if they added anything

Dang, I guess its worth a check I cant believe they would run it again!

    I hit the Kmart that is really close to my Wal-mart honey hole. I didnt expect to find anything but i'm glad I went. I found 2 #9488 for $4 each.... 2 #9489 for $4 each... 1 #3932 for $3.50 ....21 series 7 #8831 for $1.50 each and 83 series 8 #8833 for $1.50 each...I also picked up a Barbi set for my daughter......total savings $232.92....crazy

I bet the checker loved scanning or counting 109 items. :P Nice!
Were the minfigs & SW sets stickered? I didn't even think to check MiniFigures, if my stores even have them.

My cashier called over two more cashiers to help her count. I got the usual question " What are you going to do with all of these?". I might actually have to start thinking about selling some stuff. My LEGO room is getting pretty full . I found a couple CMF packs on the clearance shelf but they rung up at full price when I scanned them. The manager walked by and I asked if they were on sale....he scanned them and said " they should be" and said that I could have them for $1.50...so I grabbed the whole box...lol. Not sure what i'm going to do with that many ...I guess I will work on my pack feeling skills
  • adol7adol7 Member Posts: 150
I guess I wouldn't count on others finding a minifig deal since it was a manual adjustment. Thanks for answering that, Thanos75.

Well, I'd be shocked if you didn't have a couple complete sets out of that bunch and I know you could make at least $50-60 per set. I drove my wife crazy feeling packs for a few nights, but many sellers make a cut to verify. I didn't want to do that.

not every kmart has had the same stuff on sale, ive seen some that have old HP on sale, then others that have the stuff at full price...

i visited 13 in my area and only saw one CMF, and it was a series 7 at 1.50

I'm down in Miami. One K-Mart had nothing on sale and another only had AC items on sale. I price-checked everything in the stores. Saw some of the items others have listed above, without success at 50% off.

Kmart, too much work, too much inconsistency, too many disappointments for me to give a hoot about their sales anymore. If I happen to be at the store when there's a sale, great, but I'm wasting no more gas on them.

Grabbed a triceratops trapper for 22.50

My local K-Mart in Anderson Towne Centre near Cincinnati has all Chima, TMNT, and City sets for 15-20% off.

Found another LOTR: Attack on Weathertop for $22.50.
  • ElamaretteElamarette Member Posts: 3
LOTR Attack on Weathertop is $59.99 online with a buy 1 get one 50% off deal (Save the Bunny ends today) and free shipping. Plus I used the coupon code KMART5OFF50 to get another $5 off.

Doesn't compare to exciter1's deal at $22.50 but I wanted to let you know since it is getting harder to find at a discount. The ToysRUs price of $79.99 is such a joke in comparison.

It came out to $84.98 before tax ($42.49 each). They were unavailable from the warehouse so they shipped from a store instead.

I've been lucky, I've found 5 at this store for $22.50. I went back over two weeks later and the one I left behind was still there. This must be a low traffic KMart and I only stop there when I go skiing in the mountains.

Wow, lucky dog. :D My store has them, but they're full price.

That weathertop deal at $22.50 is amazing, congrats.
  • exciter1exciter1 Member Posts: 226
Thanks, I've only seen these on clearance in one store, but I saw where others found the same deal as well. I probably hit 8 KMarts over the week they were running the sale the first time.
