[US] Walmart with many polybags

Just walked into my local Walmart to try to find some ammo and I thought lets check Lego, even though they never have anything. And what a slap in the face! They had 8 different polybags, each with its own display. Some are older, but looks like they are trying to push out some leftovers or some newer ones. All were under $4

So I am sure if you are looking for some of these "Limited" bags, try there.

    I went to my Walmart today after the news broke on toysnbricks about the polys. Looked EVERYWHERE. I've never seen a polybag in a Walmart, and I'm afraid I never will!

    Darn, you beat me to the punch. I just came from my Wal-Mart and saw the same set of polybags.

    I haven't seen any polys at my local Walmarts in Phoenix AZ. Are you guys finding them on the West or East coasts?

    I feel your pain @starfire2, I'm down in Tucson, haven't seen a single poly besides Friends at any TRU, Walmart or Target since the Mirkwood Elves. I'm guessing they are on the East Coast, the OPs location is set as FL.

    Seriously. I've asked before but where in the world does a Walmart keep polybags? The "only" time I see them is in after-Christmas clearance aisles. Odd to have something on clearance that's not there any other time too.

    ^ At my WMs they are always in a light blue card board box on a shelf just in between other sets. Usually between SW and Ninjago or next to City stuff. If you're in the LEGO aisle at your WM and you don't see the Polys right away then they might just not have them. It is also possible someone is moving them so they dont sell out right away, or your WM just has a weird spot for them. Could always ask. If the associate appears to not really know the department well, ask to talk to the manager over toys or find out when the people that stock the area usually come in and see if you can find one of them.

    I'm in Southern California and I've never found any polys in Walmart. The best I've seen are empty blue cardboard box where the polys should be...

    Just looked and nothing.. not even an empty space where the box would go.. I wonder if these are only going to be sold at Walmart.

    None at mine either. A girl was stocking, I asked her about them, she said "uhhh, maybe, we got this box," we walk to a very polybag sized box marked LEGO, I'm all excited, and it's... Series 9.

    Mine are displayed the same exact way. I am on the East Coast (Florida). The lady said they been there for a week and no one touched them. I went in today to pick up some more for a couple people, and nearly all of them went since last night.

    I've never seen a poly at any walmarts near me. I did see some of those darned Star Wars ones on clearance last Christmas at a store about 50 miles away, but nothing else.

    My walmart never has CMF or Poly's and I don't get why!

    Maybe if I was interested, I wouldn't see them, but they are there. The Walmart in Norwalk had them yesterday. Picked up a ton of them after Christmas at many different Walmarts . . .

    Same story my Walmart never in my 5 years in this county has had polybags.

    Target has three right now in my area, all of which I picked up last summer.

    Sucks that retailers are not consistent store to store.

    went to wallyworld in East Meadow, Long Island (NY) tonight, found the gandalf poly and the z-95 but no others, asked the lady who worked in toys and cust svce with no luck... i needs me some orange galaxy squad dudes! The z95 comes out quite nice, and the 3x3 plate is a cool part I hadn't gotten yet. Actually a decent little parts pack, some nice dark red, a couple round tiles in silver the 3x3, 2 neck brackets and it looks pretty good together. I really like its big brother and this one is another winner in my book

    Checked 2 WM's here in Columbus, OH and no luck....but plenty of other WM's to hit up in this city.

    I'm in the Southbay area and I've never seen any polys or clearances more than 1 cent.

    I found them in the Easter promotional stuff. They were not in the regular Lego section. Thanks for the heads up!

    Went to several Walmarts again today and nothing. I did find a Luke's Landspeeder sitting all by itself and it scanned at $17 so I bought it to console myself.

    Went to a different WM Today and picked up 2 Gandalf's and the SW set. No interest in the Chima or Galaxy Squad and already had the Helicopter and Batmobile.

    Finally found these in the Easter section of my Walmart. Well, actually my 7 year old found them for me, I had walked right by them. :-)

    Found all the same polys people are mentioning at the downtown Long Beach, CA Wal Mart yesterday. Picked up two Gandalfs and a Star Wars (same as @llanowarsoldier) for $3.97 a piece. The polys were in the toy section. I stopped by in the morning, made my purchases, and stopped by again in the afternoon. They were going fast!

    No luck in my Walmart in either the toy section or the easter section. As I said I have never seen a single polybag at my Walmart.

    Unfortunately these polybags are not available online through Walmart.com either.

    Keep checking back and ask someone who works in toys if they ever see the polys in their store. Some of the smaller Walmarts just don't get them. And the Lego display was on the top row in my Walmart's Easter section, I literally walked right by it but my son spotted it. Also let me know if you want me to get you some polys, I'd be glad to help you out.

    Found all 6 at the Camden ,DE Walmart in the Easter section. I think it might be time for new glasses I walked by five times before I saw them.

    I asked staff, checked online for my locations inventory. They just don't get them. Took a UPC image in and had them scan it and their inventory was zero.

    Easter section? You mean with the candy, etc? I was in my WM and only checked Toys. I didn't see any there. Didn't think about checking the Easter section. I'm a WM noob. :-)

    For those finding the polys in the easter section, are they in the blue lego cardboard rack? My WMs have pretty weak Easter sections when you compare it to Target.

    Found them in Phoenix at 59th/Bell store. When I was there yesterday, there were 6 boxes which were full split between Police Helicopter, Gandalf, Z-95 Headhunter, Galxay Squad Mini Mech, Batmobile and Razcal's Double Crosser.

    @starfire2 best bets on polys in N. Phx are Happy Valley/I-17 and 59th/Bell stores.

    Yes, blue cardboard racks. Three of them each divided into 2 sections.

    just picked up another couple Galaxy Squad figs. Need an exploration TEAM, you know...and four makes a pretty good mech, me thinks. Guess We shall see.....

    Pastel Blue cardboard rack boxes...just like many of the other Easter boxes at Walmart. I've only found them in the Easter candy section...but that's all dependant upon the store...always check both. I'm in Iowa and only 2 of the 5 WM I stopped at since Thurs. had polys...and only a box of each....so I'm expecting them to be gone soon. What's that come to...about 12-20 of each theme?

    One thing I noticed today on my (unsuccessful) quest for polys: #75002 AT-RT is now $17.00, and #9525 Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter is now $39.96. They're not marked as "on sale", the tags themselves are just marked down!

    If they somehow remain after Easter, could we expect an after-Easter clearance like Target does? :D I can always dream.

    Not really. Last year they left them in the Lego isle and kept them at regular price.

    @Shpadoinkle WM just did an across the board "rollback" on all lines. As always, YMMV.

    Off Topic I know, but quite a few have been discounted in SW, GS, and Creator.
