And honestly, had I not gotten Café Corner at retail, I'd have had no problem passing on that one, either. Green Grocer may be worth hunting down for a reasonable price, though. I'm not in love with that one, but I know a lot of people name it as their favorite, so maybe it's worth shelling our for.
You beat me to it. I sold my Market Street about a year and a half ago. I personally don't consider it a true Modular Building. It was built using LDD and whatever was available in the color pallete at the time. I think it is hideous, but that's just me. There are currently 2 corner buildings out, so unless you are trying to put together a square of modular buildings ( who has the room) I would pass on CC and at least go after the Green Grocer.

CC: Too expensive, that ship has sailed for most
MS: Ug-lee, totally not worth what people are asking. I consider myself a certified completionist and even I didn't bother getting this one.
GG: IMHO the best so far. So many details inside and out and not out of $ reach (yet) so don't wait!
I think Café Corner lined up with the other modulars is particularly jarring in how out of place it looks due to outdated parts and build techniques and relatively sloppy design... and I'd probably amplify that tenfold to describe what Market Street looks like.
On the point of the Haunted House, we agree. I think a lot of fans tend to label any really detailed building as a modular, even when it's inaccurate.
