Continued with Y-Wing #10134 and it was a very satisfying build. My hunger for greeble was adequately fed. Only issue was symetry since instructions for the engines were 2x for everything instead of being mirrored. Otherwise, it exceeded expectations.
Started Rebel Blockade #10019 and sorting parts alone took over an hour. Another 1.5 hours into the build and just getting to one of the front head cones. *phew* I think I might have underestimated this one.
So many more waiting for me to get to!!
As for me, #10193 MMV
Then I got miffed that the Palace fireplace wouldnt swing out...soooo, I extended the Palace out, and rebuilt the square holes to fit over the Rancor pit.
THEN I was heartbroken that my Palace didnt have a tower on the same level, so alas, I've MOC'd a Rancor stall that joins to the pit, and working on a top play level to put the tower on, decorate with Tatooine rocks/scenery, and round out the whole darn thing. ;P
I got all I really needed for the MOC set off BL by buying a Rancor pit sans minifigs for like $20.00
I'll post pics when I'm done.
I'm also trying to build Steampunk. Not sure if I like it. The jury's still out.
I used stairs to get to each floor.
I modularlized my Daily Bugle building, but stuck with the single set plus bricks from my collection for the "extra" walls. I put in a rudimentary elevator.
I am very sad about that.
