I've got everything swapped out and after a random drawing the remaining names - the box is heading to @murphquake
Dropping it off at USPS Friday 11/9 morning. I'll get my pictures uploaded over the weekend too.
They aren't that rare, I had dozens of pairs as a kid! But it seems around 1999 Lego stopped making yellow hips, ostensibly to keep people from making "naked" minifigs. The only time this millennium they've been out was in the 2009 version of the Vintage Minifigure Sets when they had the yellow classic spaceman. I didn't even realize I didn't have yellow hips until last week when I started brassoing a bunch of minifig parts I'd been collecting for this purpose.
Right now I have 17 completely done, waiting on an old brown head and orange hands to complete those figures, don't have either started in old grey (dark or light, though I have a few bits, hips or legs maybe, from some SW figs I got on Ebay)... Blue Medium Blue are sorta done, the heads I have on both are from uncommon/valuable SW figs so they aren't getting brassoed, but I realized that the new Ninjago NRG Jay fig has a Blue head so i'll be picking up that spinner pack, plus a friend says he has a CMF S1 Super Wrestler head for the Medium Blue one, then all that will be left is chrome gold... the chrome gold keychain minifig can be had for 10-15 beans, but the hands will run me double that right now, only on the gold chrome C3PO... I'll probably end up doing it but, not right now... after that there's none left that can be finished unless Lego releases new parts or BL turns up something that wasn't cataloged or I missed.
This was a good year for monochrome minifigs, Dark Tan, Lime Green, & Olive Green all became possible (Olive didn't even exist last year =-) A few other colors are very close, usually just need hands or heads and the colors are still active, so i'm keeping a close eye on 2013 images.
Here's the pic I posted the other day. Didn't realize but I didn't put Pearl Gold on there, and you can see Yellow had no hips. The head of Blue & the torso and head of Medium Blue are actually just reversed, but I got a medium blue torso to de-ink yesterday, city advent calendar on sale at target had a bunch of parts I needed

made a bit of progress since last week:
In the future the order should be predetermined and adhered to opposed to this random round we have going on with Box 3.
In the spirit of a classic TV show from the 60's "Car 54, Where are You?"
Jambalaya Box 3 Where are you?
FEEL BETTER!!!
So here's the deal. I took 2 fully numbered lego dice. I took down all the numbers left in the jambalaya except @jadedanc who will get it last. There were 11 people left (I'm starting from 2 because you can't roll "1" with 2 dice =-)
2 @jadeirene
3 @MontyKensicle
4 @SirBen
5 @andyscouse
6 @brickriver
7 @USMCYodz

I rolled a pair of threes.... the box will be sent monday to @brickriver
This message brought to you by the quesadilla i just had for breakfast... no, no, it's ok, i made it with bacon, so it's breakfast food!
Glad to see the box. Don't forget to post pics! http://www.flickr.com/groups/2096001@N23/
Trying to be positive but @brickriver has not been on here since November...
@dneul The easiest way is wait for the next box to start IF/when we start another one :)
I think the next box (if there is 1) should be sent out in an order that everyone in the group knows and is aware of as well.
@murphquake check your flickr mail
@Murphquake did you use delivery confirmation on the box?
Man, I didn't realize I started this box back in August LOL.
L-O-N-G time to wait for LEGOs to return :)
~Michelle
Looks like the box may be in LEGO heaven or hopefully it ended up with some child who needed it more than us :)
P.S. You owe me a cab polybag now from worry lol
