Anyone going to SDCC in July? I'll be attending my second straight. LEGO has a respectable showing at the convention.

    I won't be able to make it (again). I am interested in buying/trading for whatever the LEGO exclusives are though - CubeDudes, white Boba, etc. Contact me if you're able to snag extras and we can work out a deal.

    I'll be there. This will be my 19th year. You may even see me at the LEGO booth as I sometimes help out there.

    Wow. A couple veterans. I only went last year because I thought the Con was moving out of San Diego. It was a blast so I'm going to go every year while it's still in my backyard. I went to a couple of the LEGO panels last year, maybe I'll see some of you there!

    I'm going for the first time. My wife has been before, as she is a native San Diegan. Can't wait to check out the Lego stuff!

    Would I be able to work out a deal with any of you fine gents attending the SDCC to pick me up a GI JOE Zarana exclusive figure? I'll gladly pay the price of the figure and shipping to me and more and trade you some possible collectible minifigs you may need or other lego items. If this is possible for you please message me.

    I'll definitely be hitting up the Hasbro section as I'm also a GI Joe, Marvel and Transformer fan. I wonder what LEGO and Hasbro will have as exclusives.

    Can just anyone go to it? When is it? How much are tickets? I know Google has all these answers and more, but that doesn't stimulate discussion. :)

    Well any one can go, but the tickets are all sold out. The tickets sell out months in advance. It is July 21-24.

    Tickets are all sold out from what I can tell. You had to order tickets online and you have to pick them up on-site with your printed confirmation email with matching names on the tickets. There were tons of problems with the system when registration first opened.

    My wife and I each got the 4-day pass and they were ~$100 ea. She has family in San Diego so we have a place to stay for free.

    Essentially tickets for this year sold out within hours when it finally was made available to the public, after 3-4 failed attempts because of servers problems. The delay probably made everyone who was planning to go anxious, so another reason tickets sold quickly. In the past, a second wave of tickets are available closer to the event date as they allow people to refund tickets who cannot go. Those go quickly also.

    Has anyone heard anything about there being any Lego exclusives this year. I guess I'll be at the Hasbro booth for their exclusives.

    No word as to a Lego Star Wars exclusive. I saw a list of many of the announced exclusives from various dealers and Lego was not listed amongst them but that may only mean Lego hadn't yet determined what they were offering.

    Some day I might make it to SDCC. I was in San Diego the week before the convention back in 2009 and if I'd planned the trip a lot earlier I might have tried to fit it in. Oh well.

    I'm sure as the date approaches someone will post more details on what Lego is offering this year.

    Ok, I repeat, I'm interested and will pay for any LEGO exclusives "extras" that attendees are able to acquire. Man I wish I could be there. Perhaps next year.

    I don't have tickets for tonights Preview Night otherwise I would try to get one of those 3000 Lego DC Universe offerings. I can see them on Ebay later today for unimaginable amounts.

    ^Yup, got mine at the end of Comic-Con 2011, and signed up for the Member ID. Hope that's all I need. My girl finally got her own tickets so I wont have to quickly scalp on before the day comes

    Was a regular at SDCC from '98 to '08 but now I'm an NYCC dude. Hopefully some of SDCC exclusives will be duplicated at NYCC.
