Ok, time to sell my Cafe Corner...

I once thought I'd keep it forever, the exterior is beautiful, but there is only so much room for LEGO in the house. :)

This is a factory set, not a bricklinked set, all the original parts are here, the original instructions are included and are kept in good condition in plastic sleeves. They aren't mint, they were used to build the set by myself, but you'll be pleased with how nice they are.

As for the set itself, it has sat on the top shelf of my bookshelf since building it. I use compressed air to keep my sets free of major dust, I'll be sure to go over it very carefully before taking it apart.

I can bag the set several ways. Either all the parts together by color and general size, or by floor, then by color and general size. I could of course leave it together if you asked, but half the fun is building it. :)

$800 shipped, this is, to my knowledge, the lowest price online for a 100% complete used set with original instructions. No retail box is included.

Any questions, please ask, either here or via PM.

Are you sure you want to sell it? I mean Modulars and SW UCS are the two themes I can see myself never selling, they are just great display sets. Although I don't plan on selling any of my personal sets.

I would love to get this but I'm not ready yet. Good Luck.

This set was a game changer as it kicked of something great. It pulled many out of their dark age to be sure. I really need to part with mine as well, but i just can't do it. I even listed mine for a day back in September. But, I do understand that very few people have the space to keep every good set. I just parted with my Taj Mahal simply because it took up too much space.

Good Luck, not that you need it to sell that set. $800 is a fair price, as the cheapest in the US on bl is $799.99. And with @LegoFanTexas you know the set is in great condition.

Do I want to sell it? No

Do I need to sell it? Yes

There comes a point where I have to decide what I really am going to keep. I don't have unlimited space, already I have new models that I haven't built because I lack the room. Town Hall is still in the box because of this.

So I have to decide if I want to slow down/stop building large new models, or become ok to sell the ones that I have.

I suppose I could just take it apart and box it up and put it in storage, but I thought about that and realized that I'd end up with multiple storage tubs full of complete sets that would probably never get built again, unless my kids do it in 20 years.

But there will be many new things to come out in that time.

As my wife has pointed out to me. If my goal is to collect every amazing model LEGO ever makes, I might as well buy the house next door as I'll need the space to display them all. :)

:) Funny that you say that, I recently purchased a Taj Mahal to build. I suspect it will end up the same way, taken apart to be sold in a few years. We shall see.

I once thought I'd never sell any of the big cool stuff, but honestly, I now even see myself selling my UCS Falcon (gasp!). Why? Because unless I buy the house next door, I simply have no more room to display anything.

:) Thanks for the kind words...

*dump* might not be the right word. ;)

But when it is time to go, I'm sure I'll post about it here... unless someone wants to make me an offer.

    Thank you. :)

Ok, I've had 2 offers, then counter-offered, but no sale yet...

I'll lower my price to $750 shipped which is what I countered the other two buyers at. $750 is most likely my bottom price on this, so if someone wants it for $750 including shipping, it is all yours.

mods, can you please change the subject line to $750?

Would you be willing to ship to Australia for that $750?

As it has no box I assume it wouldn't be a crazy big amount to ship but I am also not 100% sure how much overseas shipping is so I'm not trying to be offensive with my offer if it is actully quite expensive (-:"

I'm afraid not... Shipping to Australia would be expensive, about $100 including tracking and insurance...

While I do have shipping budgeted in the above $750 price, it sure isn't that much worth. :) Add $80 for shipping to Australia and you have $830 for a shipped price to Australia.

No dramas at all, at the moment just above what I should spend but if you dont sell it and are still keen, in the future when I have a bit more $ I'll shoot you of a pm to see if you still want to get rid of it (-:"
