I had no interest from a resale perspective but your interest may vary. Some prices inflated to start, some not.

30% off is like back to regular MSRP at TRU on most sets over 20$
  • kwkwkwkw Member Posts: 1,209
Lol unless the 20 off 100 stacks then it'll be worth it
  • gmpirategmpirate Member Posts: 1,654

^ I'm not sure you're missing out on anything. I dropped by the store earlier today. There are quite a few signs that say something to the effect of "no regular offers, coupons, etc. accepted", as well as "all sales are final". I did not see anything worth picking up and left empty handed. I think the closest thing to a deal would be 4434 at $22 - 30% (but even then it's the same as a BOGO from WM or Target), and I already have it.

    No chima or hobbit stuff?

^^Thanks for saving me a trip, Poochy!

^^ I should have taken some photos, but forgot. Don't remember seeing any Chima or Hobbit (or at least nothing stood out in my memory). Some Cars, LOTR, City, Galaxy Squad, TMNT, and one HP (4867 for $80, I believe, or some crazy markup like that).

If anyone goes to the store today, will you update re what's left and how much? I am particularly interested in a deal for the Malevolence or one of the two larger G-Squad sets. Thanks!

Do you remember the price on the Palpatine Arrests? My kid has got it bad for one of those...
  • kwkwkwkw Member Posts: 1,209
Palps Arrest is currently 65.99 before tax

Thanks kwkw. Decent markdown from msrp, but still seems a bit pricey for the set (still more than .10/piece). Given the exclusivity of the set, I am not sure we'll see it lower anywhere else...

Does anyone have it or feel this is a no-brainer at this price?
  • samiam391samiam391 Member Posts: 4,506
@BeMild- Yes, high price per piece count... however, and unfortunately, TRU markup on RRP... makes this not a bad deal.

You may not see this marked down again for some time. Personally, I'd be a buyer on it at that price. Especially if I was buying it to build and enjoy!
