Anyone have an extra Vampire Castle they wanna trade?
I have noticed that these particular Walmarts are the older smaller stores. Just down right nasty....
I was in one the other day and the Lego isle looked like the thrift store. Open boxes, stuff everywhere... They even had a space patrol ship that had a really beat up box. Scanned it for fun.. Full retail price lol.
Yes, if I were to wait for the prices to drop any lower on those sets, it would not have happened. I only picked up a few of each at that price, and within a few days the rest of them were all gone. 30% off Lego does not last long in my area. So, it was either buy those, or hold out to see if I can find them for less than $40 online, which may or may not occur. At $40, I'm sure I will be able to sell those for $80 within a year after EOL, unless they get blown out like Podracers did.
8486 Cars Mack's Team Truck $20
4203 Excavator Transport $20
6865 Captain americas Avenging Cycle $9.74
9446 Destiny bounty $40
4527 Ultrabuild The Joker $7.50
9445 Ninjago Fangpyre Truck Ambush $25
and some heroica lego games.
Overall I was thrilled to see them at clearance. I'm going to check again for super heroes hulk set as it wasn't discounted much.
Whet to a popular Wally the other day, and the shelves were nearly empty, save the giant stacks of Chima. Scanned the only Helm's Deep they had. $57. Jaw dropped.
Also found a 7915 Imperial V Wing Starfighter for 9.50 and a 7959 Geonosian Starfighter for $12.
Still hoping to find a Black Pearl in the mix but no luck so far. I do enjoy the thrill of the hunt :)
I than went and talked to the Toy manager, and asked if they would be discounting any of the huge stock of LEGO sets they had (all ones I've seen discounted above at other WMs) and he quickly replied that "Everything that we were going to discount, has already been discounted". So to close it out.. no discounts at my WM this year..
Lexington Walmart- 1 Samuel- 0
I saw some actual ninjago sets at another wm today. One was 50% and the other was a big one and it was 79.99. 9445 was the discounted one. This was in oldsmar fl.
At the 1rst WM I found 2 Ninjago boxes #9447 that were returned, one was 50% off, the other was full price (24.97) and the manager wouldn't reduce the 2nd box to $12. She's always been as least helpful as anyone could possibly be.
The 2nd WM had a Mines of Moria in a smashed box for $54. I also found a clock and soccer balls for my neice/nephew, but while I was checking out, the cashier dropped the sack and broke the clock. So I had to take it up to Customer Service and when I was up there there were 4 boxes of Ninjago that some had returned...all rang up 50% off.

I was also surprised to find the recycling truck for $14.50 and camper for $9.50 this morning at walmart!!! One of each so maybe they were returns and in perfect condition. Scanned everything else at full price.
I wonder if Amazon will match the prices?
You 'Add' into a bundle, add it into your cart, then go back and add another, or 'x' out the first set you put in and add another..
You can add as many bundles as you like into the cart.
They do it by bundles, so you will basically get as many of those Hobbit Riddle sets as the items you are getting.
#9492 - $30 (bought two, only one left)
#4203 - $25 (had only one)
#4439 - $30 (had a bunch left, got only one)
#7288 - $21 (had only one)
#4208 - $10 (had a bunch left, got two)
And the grand finale... sitting on the bottom shelf all by it's lonesome.
#7964 - $49.50 (had only one)
I was pleased to say the least.
It has been since just before Christmas, also they think old used sets are worth gold! Too funny because the used set listings all start with 100% complete with only a few missing pieces.
I think more and more people are trying to sell house hold items online to make a few extra bucks. They go online and find Brickset and figure their old junky stuff is worth millions.
Yes I truly believe the bubble has peaked, and will soon burst for reselling for the vast majority of sets. As others stated I could care less, just means more Lego for less $$$$.
