I have not gone to one in the past but will this year. It looks like lots of fun events for children.

Are we allowed to post Lego contests? There was one in Japan where the contestants try to make the wildest things in their own imagination. From food to dioramas of festivities. I don't know exactly when the contest took place, but I'm sure it's sometime around spring - summer of this year. The contest was aired on TV on July 21st.

Oh, and here's the link for your reference; http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/contents/newtitle/105942.html

Click on that youtube-like images to see a partial image of what they aired. If this doesn't count, you can go ahead and delete it.

    Concerning the October event
19th-25th - LEGO World, Zwolle, The Netherlands
http://www.legoworld.nl (currently in Dutch language only - English to follow)

It appears that they have removed the English and German versions of their site for this year. Maybe they'll come up with one later on, but I doubt it...
