Help! "Batman 2 Lego Set"?

I am participating in a charity for the holidays and a 9 year old boy asked for a "Batman 2 Lego Set". That is all the info I have and I have searched everywhere and it doesn't seem like there's such a thing. Can anyone give me an educated guess as to what this could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Maybe he just wants any Batman Lego set from the videogame? You used the words "a Batman 2 Lego set" and not "the Batman 2 Lego set" which implies it is more than one. Just guessing here. Either way, I think the kid will be very happy receiving a new Batman themed set.

I would probably target the 6863 Batwing or 6864 Batmobile sets since they both have a good guy vehicle and a bad guy vehicle.

@tljohnson What @Short_Round said seems very plausible. Basically, while there is no particular "Batman 2 Lego set" (as you found out yourself), there is a Lego Batman 2 video game (available e.g. Amazon). The Limited Edition of that video game comes with an exclusive Lex Luthor minifigure. Afaik, that is the one and only Lego set that has a link to "Batman 2".

On the other hand, it doesn't really look like a set a kid would be asking for. You might want to browse through the Super Heroes sets to check for current Batman-themed sets. Make sure you don't search for "Batman" sets though, as that will bring up older sets which are not available anymore.

There is a Lego Batman 2 video game. Sets #6863, and #6862 appear in the video game. Some vehicles & characters in #6857, #6858, #6860, #6864, and #30160, also appear in the video game. So if they play the video game the above sets should look very familiar

If we go by box size / pieces counts, #6860, is the biggest followed by #6864,

    I hope it helps

Batman 2 Lego set = #6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape.
It's available at Toys R Us, a LEGO store, or www.LEGO.com

Ok so I think I might have it narrowed down to 30164 - Batwing Battle over Gothic City, OR 6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape. Does anyone else recommend one over the other? #30164 is quite a bit cheaper it seems. Everyone has been so helpful, thank you!!

Batwing Battle over Gotham City is #6863. #30164 is just a Lex Luthor promo figure, not a full set.

Like others, I think if you got any of the sets that are featured in the Lego Batman 2 videogame he should be fine.

IMO one of the better ones with the most play value is the Funhouse Escape. Great figs, lots of playability and a motorcycle.

Second IMO would be the Batwing set. Nice to have Batman AND the Joker.

Both #6863 and #6857 are fun sets. The thing to consider is #6857 being TRU exclusive so the only 2 (official) places that sell them are TRU and LEGO stores. #6863 is cheaper and available in most retailers that sell LEGO.
