Ha ha, now back on topic is that some new elements I see there in the orange truck set :)

Cement mixer is stunning. The pickup not so much but I think I'll still get it. The main bonnet piece looks new as does the front bumper. Have to say the front of the truck is actually what is turning me off the set a little it's not pretty IMO.

^ Not much different to the previous blue one surely?

I somehow missed the blue one, so I am definitely getting this one.

Since I have the blue one, I don't find the yellow one too stunning. Looks about the same for me. I'll still get it though.

Shucks. I'm running out of space to store backlogged Lego sets. I was thinking of squeezing out the City theme but these have me thinking again.

So I'm going to go from too many red sportscars and police to orange trucks and maroon cars O.o

    Great spot @CM4S!

Both looking really cool to me, although accept the point about the maroon cars! I guess a certain colour just comes in and out of fashion in Lego City too! For me there is enough difference to 7990 to make the mixer worth the while for general town layout.

Thanks for posting these. I'll be buying multiples of the flatbed tow truck and at least one of the cement mixers.

The hood piece on the two truck isn't new. It's from the "Cars" sets, particularly this one #9481.

city sets keep pumping out these cars and truck, but not a lot of buildings except for police station, and fire station ... i think they should change the name from "City" to "Traffic"

just wish they can make small buildings set and sell them for 20-30bucks

@Ma1234 You're right! I thought it was a new piece as well. Pretty slick how the wheel well is covered up there.

prefer the yellow to the blue though. I missed the last one anyway.

I really like the maroon car on the tow-truck. Looks simple but very stylish. The concrete truck even has a chute out the back!
