I was wondering, was http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=7778-1 this set made to be on scale with the line of Mini Ships?
IF so has anyone really taken a good look at them to compare size... I was just wondering what ones in the mini line are the same scale as this one. Was thinking of getting a few and this falcon would be a nice compliment to the little ones.

I sincerely doubt whether LEGO have given much thought to the question of scale with respect to mini and midi models. The midi scale Falcon (7778) isn't in scale with the midi scale Imperial Star Destroyer (8099). Similarly, mini models aren't generally to scale with each other either - the mini ISD model is the same size as the mini Imperial Shuttle, which is the same size as the mini X-wing........!

So no - in general, these models aren't in scale with each other, although the mini X-wing and TIE aren't dramatically out out scale with the midi Falcon.

^ I agree. I think they just came up with the "midi" designation because they wanted a set of that size and price point, and it fit in between the minifig scale and the mini scale (http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=4488-1)
