BACK IN STOCK!!!!!!!!! REQUIRES 1-2 OF PROCESSING TIME!!!!!!

That means someone canceled their order and the item has to be restocked on the shelf before they can reprocess it for shipment.

    Order it! :)

Damn, can't add item to the cart.

500 in 1 hour. That is impressive. And, just goes to show the difficultly in getting 1, just 1. You check before you go to lunch, they don't have any. Go to lunch and then return to find that they got some in while you were eating your P&J sandwich and are already gone! A person would need to check every 30 minutes to not miss out. And, what about sleeping? Insane.

Yep... They need to put something aside and make a lot more of this.

I'm refreshing the page every now and then. The $34.99 price keeps popping up, but I can't add it to my cart. Frustrating.

^ Just a thought... At some point, would it not be worth it to just buy it from [email protected], pay the shipping, and move on?

You can spend a lot of time and money chasing a "deal". :)

You make a good point. If Amazon doesn't get any in, I will have to buy it from [email protected] I'm gonna wait a bit and see what happens.
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
What happens if [email protected] runs out before then? :)

I wonder if the success of CMFs, Minecraft, and Ninjago spinners is giving TLG some pause. "Wait... we can sell product by the truckload with minimal design effort?"

And then I will have to resort to you and your insane prices. ;-) jk. But yea, I will have to ask a member on here or something. :)

Just so long as they understand these are supporting products, not the main products. Without the bigger sets and a complete line, the spinners, CMFs, and Cuusoo lines don't work.

You don't have to make money on everything that you do, so long as the stuff you're not making money on is required to support the cash cows.

That's just plain silly talk! I will not be denied MY Minecraft from Amazon! Gonna set my alarm for 3am, 3:30am, and 4am. I should be able to snag one while everyone else is asleep. BRAAAA HAAAA HAAAA (evil laugh)

I don't know anything about Minecraft and the part out value just over the retail value. Is it just a situation of supply and demand? I lke microbuilding so I may pick one up but I probably won't be upset if I don't get one.
  • gmpirategmpirate Member Posts: 1,654
Its always a situation of supply and demand. Not enough supply and the value goes up. The demand, however, is really from Minecraft people, not necessarily your "normal" Lego crowd.

Yep, and you can only order 1 per account, and there is a 1 week reset time before you can order another one, it won't let me order a second one since I bought one this morning.

    Amazing, isn't it? :)

Just wait until Portals comes out! :)

Hmm, I don't get it. I like micro building but when I look at the Minecraft set it just doesn't do anything for me. I added it to my cart and then just decided to delete it without a care.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/toys-and-games/166099011/

This will of course change, but for awhile, take a look...

Not only is Minecraft #1 in Toy Building Sets on Amazon, it has been in the top 100 for 110 straight days, even being out of stock most of that time.

Lloyd ZX has been in the top 100 for 56 days, the entire time it has been released.

The other one, #2, is the Deluxe Brick Box, it has been in the Top 100 for almost 18 months straight.

#4, the Falcon, since Amazon got it in stock 276 days ago, and so on...

    Interesting list, for anyone interested...

Amazing... I'm surprised the Blue Brick Box has been there for 500+ days. What's so amazing?
  • dsdg88dsdg88 Member Posts: 133
Finally got one. Thanks to all for the alerts. Had a chance earlier today but hesitated and missed out. Was also hoping for free shipping from [email protected] but since my boys just got into minecraft I didn't want to take a chance, again.

Look further down at #8 and #9, both have been in the top 100 for over 5 straight years! (almost 2,000 days)

#8 is Green Base Plate ($2 more than [email protected]), and #9 is the basic brick box with 405 parts.

^ and when they say limit of four per person - they really mean it. I ordered four of them from Jinx when it first came out. That was a couple of months ago, right? It won't let met order anymore with that account.
  • cloaked7cloaked7 Member Posts: 1,448
@pharmjod Thanks! I just ordered 4. Never ordered from them before, so we'll see if it goes through.

Ditto, we'll see if my 4 goes though as well. Once you post that somewhere like here however, I'll bet they run out quickly. ;)

It's funny, I have no interest in this set at all. But since it's so rare, and I have a rare chance to buy it, I'm feeling compelled.

There is a direct correlation between amount of time spent reading this forum and dollars spent on Lego.

    ^could not agree more.

I spend way too much money on days where I have a lot of time to wander around this forum.
  • kim43235kim43235 Member Posts: 165
Now [email protected] just sold them out at $40+$4 shipping+tax. Possibly will come back. I don't think ebay has any limit on number of purchase, does it?
  • cloaked7cloaked7 Member Posts: 1,448
^ I don't know of a way to limit quantities on an eBay auction based on the user. My guess is that you could only do so manually some way.
  • y2joshy2josh Member Posts: 1,996
    A) You can set a limit on the number of items an individual eBay user can purchase from you in the buyer requirements portion of the listing.
    B) I do not see the appeal of this set at all.
