    A post hit slickdeals about the price drop about 20 minutes ago. If you're on the fence about Death Star, I would advise to buy now before it's out of stock. You can always return it if you change your mind.

    Huh. I have no idea why it's showing up at $336 for me. I'm out of space and funds anyway... so I guess it's no big loss.

    :) I know the feeling... ouch, I swore I was DONE with Death Star, but at that price?

    Just bought 5 more Death Stars... and more Tower Bridges, and more Diagon Alleys...

    Something weird is going on, maybe Walmart is getting out of the Lego business? Nothing else makes sense.

    Edit: I really can't stand Walmart's web site, now THAT is annoying... The Tower Bridges and Diagon Alley's are site to store, for the store 3 minutes away from me.

    For some reason, the Death Stars are marked to be at a store an hour away from me! Grr... e-mail sent to Walmart.com, lets see if they can change it... don't know how it happened, it is a completely random store in another city.

    Yes, they get trashed that way, I don't trust them...

    However, you make a good point, the site to store isn't foolproof either.

    I'll see what I can do to get them to change it, might have to have them change it to ship to me, if they can't change the store.

    Still, for 5 Death Stars at $289, I might make the drive if I have no choice, that is a lot of money saved. :)

    LFT: Gotcha, I was just wondering. Yep, amazing deal on the DS.

    I just remembered, someone in some other thread stated the SSD or DS (cant remember which) was shipped to them with a shipping label slapped on the Lego box. Maybe ship to store is a good idea for the larger sets...

    At that price, it is worth holding for another year, still a good return on the money because of the discount.

    Still, I did just buy 5 more last week at the $335 price, so while I might kick myself later, I take this as a sign, I just clicked cancel on the order. :)

    Maybe I have enough, so the rest of you go buy them now. :)

    As an addendum to my earlier post - When I look at the Death Star's page, it shows up at $336, but when I go to the actual checkout screen, it comes up at $289. If the Death Star happens to finally go this year... I'm going to be kicking myself for not picking up a couple more...

    DS came back in stock for just a brief moment and while I tried to order my 2 yr old son started fighting with another kid outside and when I got back from sorting them out it was OOS. Suck.

    Ordered 2 TH at $148. Emailed to see if they will price adjust. Crazy pricing. At this rate I won't have any thing left for BF deals, which unless they are even crazier than this probably won't matter. Would have loved to gotten a DS or two at that price. I only have a modest 2 in storage :)

    How does the price matching work with amazon? Do you call the order in and say that WM has a better price? do they check? The DS, TH and GE were in and out of stock when I was on the walmart site, so not sure what they would say.
    Just found out about shipping depots that I can have sets sent to and I go get them (I am in Canada)... now too many sales!

    ^ it's implied that amazon must have it in stock! :P obviously...

    e.g. GE, DA, PS, VW Van are still in stock, but at MSRP.

    This wasn't a tease; they were actually in stock briefly last night for that price.

    The tease -- for those that have orders -- is now hoping and waiting for them to go from "processing" to "shipped".

    I only have one of my orders from Oct 4th showing as shipped, and that was for Tower Bridge which has been available the entire past two days.

    Does anyone have "shipped" orders on Modulars from Oct 4th until now?

    Missed all the action but requested a price adjustment on my Diagon Alley sets. Hopefully they honor their price adjustment policy. Nice sale.

    Just called and they did the price adjustment over the phone. After discovercard cashback that brings the price down to $100.53 each for 10217. Now I just need them to arrive in good shape.

    @rocao - The GE I ordered last night at $108.10 is already showing as shipped, but that was all I picked up.

    Disappointed. This morning the Town Hall seemed to come into stock and I added it to my cart with store pick up. By the time I put all my info in it was out of stock again. Is store pick up an option with these sets? It was giving me a message that said it wasn't an option and then when I wasted time trying to order with shipping I lost it.

    What number did you call? I can't seem to find a number at Walmart's website.

    ^ Call 800-925-6278. Press 2, 1 & 1 at the first three prompts. This will get you a human. Tell them you had a question about an online order and they will forward you to the right person.
