    Yah!!! You finally got it lol. I was beginning to think it was being delivered by dog sled or something lol.

    Next question: was there anythig in there you could use?

    Sorry guys, been really busy this week. But the weekend is finally here so I got around to taking some pics. They have been uploaded to the Flickr group. *I apologize for the crummy photos, I was a bit too excited to open up that box. ;-)

    Also took out the parts and added some of mine in!

    And finally, I have done the little raffle and the second recipient of the box will be @Chooch!!!!!!

    Hope you enjoy the parts in there. :) Will let you know once I mail the box out.

    Nice! Thanx @LegobrandonCP - I will be sitting on the porch for the next week waiting for the postman.... :) Just kidding.. Have fun with the box and see it when it gets here... Going to look @ the photos now.

    I think Canada is a beautiful country with wonderful people, but I'm not visiting any time soon and with the soon to be announced hockey lockout, I had only one thing to look forward to from the land of the Maple Leaf.....
    It feels like Xmas, eh???
    My Wife is down with a sinus infection so hoping to paw through this in the coming weekend and get it out on Sept. 24... I will advise.

    We have been dealing with illness & forest fire evacuations this week, but found time to look through the box. We are going to trade stuff out this weekend and decided we wanted the box to go somewhere we would like to be. Since we love cruising, we will be sending it to @USMCYodz - let us know if you are looking for anything in particular... Box will be shipped Monday, Sept. 24

    Okay, the Wife has decided since she can't 'cruise' to Florida with the box, she would like to see New England in the Fall and the pretty colors. We will be sending the Jam Box to @GIR3691 - GIR let us know if you need anything special and we can still get the box mailed tomorrow.

    Hasn't arrived yet. The anticipation is killing me.

    I'll be able to hand it off to @murphquake or @bmwlego some time next week though, so it'll go through us pretty quick.

    oh no you don't @GIR3691! pick a name out of a hat like a good jambalayer buddy! (though it would be much more convenient to pick @bmwlego or me, but i like the random aspect of this round of the jambalaya... me and Brian have already done swaps in both directions, and the 3 of us can all easily trade parts on our own anytime we get together (did i ever tell you i have that bricktober magnet set aside for you?)










    not that i wouldn't mind a sneak peek or a dip into the box before it comes back this way... can't let all the good stuff get sent off to someone we don't even like ;-p

    Anyone else have an opinion on this? If it isn't clear GIR/BMW/MQ are all LUGmates and will be spending much of next week together at NY Comic Con, I'd rather spend a little extra on shipping and get the box moving, than just having it shuffling around here (plus we're all going to be busy). I'd rather GIR holds it a few extra days so he can make his swaps and then sends it where the fates determine... even if it is right here in the end.

    Be honest @GIR3691, you sent them a couple of your Tumblers from the NYCC display! You can post the pics, people have the option to go look or not... it also gives others on a list to ask for dibs on an element they've been looking for (all those 1x2 black bricks you were nice enough to include, 1 for 1, to the rare minifigs you took out, for example). That has worked nicely for a few people, as sometimes someone else on the line has lots of a part they express interest in and can put in a little baggie just for them, thus leaving the ones in the box for anyone who wants them, or letting that person take them also if they make it far enough down the line. This keeps the people from the back of the list from missing out on something that's in the box early on... there's no guarantee you're gonna get it, but most of us don't mind if there's a good use intended for it (eg; making a big modular in medium pearl lavender and there's three 2x4 bricks you can use? ask for em!)

    I have received the box...and will be finishing up with it either tonight or tomorrow. I will send it on its way by Wednesday. This is so much fun, I wish it could go one forever.

    @BrickDancer I have a photo of the list from when I received the box and you are on it... There are 16 ppl total for Box number 3.
