Target's Halloween LEGO sets = 30201 and... 30105?

Just like every other retailer, the small Target in my neighborhood is converting the "Back to School" section to the "Halloween" section, and on an otherwise empty endcap, were some 30201s out for $3.99 ("Lego Ghost" is what they are tagged as). But the surprise was the next shelf down, which was labelled as Lego Friends Mailbox, which Target sold around Valentine's and was set 30105. This stock wasn't out yet (the out-of-stock silver dot was located next to it), but I was expecting it to be the coffin car.

Anyone else noticed this on their outings yet?

The Coffin Car poly is exclusive to TRU. It shows as "sold out" online right now.

My store also had both those labels, but instead of it actually being the mailbox, they were emma's car, 30103

I can attest that one of my local targets had the ghost polys and the 30105 Mailbox.

I have a feeling these 2 sets WILL go to clearance after halloween, as they are the larger bags w/o the peg hole at the top. The ones from easter that didnt clearance were simply put up front on the pegs, as target probably realized they were general themes to keep selling...

Every single target in my area has had a different friends polybag, definitely a pleasant development!

So far I've spotted and purchased 3 different Friends polys:
    30101 Mia/skateboard
    30103 Emma/car
    30105 Stephanie/mailbox

    Has anyone found any others?
I'm trying to track them all down for my sister-in-law in Japan. :o)

Picked up 2 ghost clocks as I don't want to miss out on this poly. Let's hope they do go on clearance after Halloween as I'd love about at least a dozen more ghosts.

I bought a few last Friday to make sure we had enough for nieces/nephews. When I was back two days later, all of the ghosts had been cleared out.

Does Target restock these? Or are they a one shot thing?

^ Re-sellers must be buying the heck out of these.

I can easily see that being the case. It's a great little set for the price and I'm sure it will remain popular.

Thanks for the info. I guess that means I still have rounds to make at several other Targets.

Must be someone trying to spike up the average price.

^ Don't they have to pay BL fees based on the selling price?

Yeah, 3 sold for $60k on Bricklink. :)

That was $60k EACH!!! if I read the price guide correctly.

@oldtodd33 - not a BL seller, so I don't know how they calculate that. I imagine there's something where the sale is made, recorded, and then cancelled, but is just not removed from the sale stats. Things like that happen on ebay all the time where some horribly overpriced item sells but there's no way to know if the buyer actually went through with it and the seller just got a final value fee credit.

Good point. That would be $1845 in BL fees. Hmm...

^^ if the order gets cancelled then it does get removed from the price guide. At least it worked this way before the hacking in May. So either this functionality is broken or it hasn't been cancelled yet.

I was thinking the seller may have meant to list the item in Indonesian Rupiahs (or other currency) and accidentally had it listed as US$. But then who would have bought it? Perhaps someone else who thought it was listed as Rupiahs? ;)

Do those Friends polybags have different DCPIs? If so, anybody know what they are?

My Target had the skateboard set: 086-02-0962

But, the online inventory checker seems to be MIA. Sigh...

Found the Ghost and Clock in Target/Elmhurst, Queens yesterday (only one and I bought it). Sold out there but I hope they get more soon for my fellow collectors.

I think that's the same DCPI I saw for the car set so it may be that they all share one.
