For Sale: Flump's Clearout (UK)
Having moved home and finally collated my stash from three different stores, it appears I've far too many duplicates than I should. If any of you are interested, please send me a PM. All are New and Sealed and I'm not aware of any dings to any of the boxes but will obviously double/triple check before a deal is struck.
I've not been actively looking to buy/sell so don't yet know how the current market fairs - I'll leave it open to offers. No silly ones though. Given I'll be saving on fees, I'm sure we can work something out.
Shipments will be at couriered and insured at cost or can be delivered for collection at STEAM.
Cheers, James.

I notice you still have a #4841 for sale? Havin' trouble shifting? ;-)
Will be going to STEAM on the Saturday so can trade direct to save on shipping.
Cheers @kempo. Saturday right?

I'll be there on the Saturday for making delivery a little easier..... and cheaper. :-)
I can package securely to get them over to you, but don't have a multi-million empire behind me to provide courtesy shipping. As previously discussed, if you want to arrange the shipping, I am more than happy to spend a day boxing and wrapping and boxing again. Have recently moved home so have dozens and dozens of large boxes and like a mile of bubble wrap still on a roll.
And for what it's worth, from a LEGO perspective, I wish I was over there too! :-)
You should go for it. The lego is all immaculate. I have seen it first hand!

A fairly embarrassing moment for me a few months ago was prompting @drdavewatford and @Huw to wash their hands when I caught them red-handed assembling the theme's second phase at The Lego Show in Manchester. I thought it was a well delivered joke.....right up 'til about 4 hours later when I learnt that Adam Vaughn, one of the designers was RIGHT THERE when I said it. Flump died on the spot.
For example, 10189 - Taj Mahal, shipping on that set is going to be over $100. I wouldn't want to own it for more than $1,000, which means I can afford to pay him $900.
He should be able to get more than $900 for it locally.
The only real benefit to selling to me is that I can take all of it at once, but we'd be looking at over $500 in shipping, or more.
UK to US is one of the worst shipping rates in the world. Shipping from Germany to the US is less than half the cost of UK to US.
Very annoying, and not flump's problem of course, but it rather kills the deal.
I remember it well - a real "open mouth, insert foot" moment. And so unlike you, James...
Plenty sold and going to have trouble finding room in the car to be honest, but will work it out one way or another.
All sealed and in great shape:-
