Harry Potter Peeves printing error

I don't know if anyone has ever saw this error. I have checked 3 different references and I have never seen this print on any Peeves before. Is this a printing error and if it is a printing error, is it worth anything?

    I think it was different in each of the 2 sets he came in possibly. I know I have both of them anyway.

    Ahhhh ok. I was just wondering because I have about 15 of these figures and this is the only one I have with this print.

    @Pitfall69 & @Matthew

    This figure is the same for both #4709 Hogwart's Castle and #4705 Snape's Class. Judging by the picture I presume you are refering to the minifigure on the right which to me looks very play worn rather than a 'misprint' or actually it is a bad print.

    It is common for 'Bad/inferior Prints' to occur during manufacture but are worthless compared to what you would get for a nicely printed minifigure. I've seen people try and create a buzz around these types of errors to increase value, but it ain't gonna happen.

    However if this torso design had been printed on a different colour torso,white for example, then that would be a genuine 'Mis-Print' and then would be worth something considerably more...

    @Pitfall69 15 Peeves! Do you have some ghostly MOC in progress? :-)

    Ah... now I have a Peeves on my desk by me and mine is quite strongly printed. Where by I assumed this to be correct as my other from the other HP set is not too dissimilar? Yet a quick scan of online pictures show the print to be quite 'faded' ??

    Still not worth more IMO!

    Actually I'm talking about the figure on the left. The one on the right is the one found in Brick set and Harry Potter: Characters of the Magical world. Peeves is supposed to look "worn" giving him a ghostly look.

    Well I don't know! the one in my #4709 is the one on the right, and the one on the left is in my #4705. I didn't mean they were intentionally different in the sets, but that #4705 happened to have a misprinted batch.

    Well...I guess that solves that. Thank you.

    ^About having 15 Peeves. I have several #4705 and 3 #4709. Peeves head is used for the Knight as well.

    I'm definitely not trying to create a buzz to increase the value of this minifigure. I was just confused to why it was different.

    @Pitfall69 I wasn't implying you were as you were neither presenting it or offering it to be more collectable or valuable. :-)

    But I've read on here and other sites quite a few times about so called 'mis-prints' and people claiming of their increased value!

    I know. I just wanted to clarify :)
