Thanks very much, please feel free to have a go at building, if possible, your both going to have to post pictures to let me know how you've got on.
I did manage to drop it the other night after taking the photos. Needless to say I did turn the air blue somewhat!
The rings and display case will be going on display in the Liverpool Lego shop through August in the LUG showcase, so if your in the area?
Steve and Carol
But the 52 x 52 sounds a great deal, but its only nice if you have bricks to build the stand inside the frame. And you must have the amount of mini figs too!
Many series 1 - 7?
I want to see if I can fit 16 minifigs in the 23x23 frame.
If you can spray each one to the series colour will be great too!
Series 3s green bricks!
Maybe try ones from Wilkinson.
The mounting is my own slightly shaky work, rows of 3X2 bricks down the side in the union jack colours all squeezed into a B&Q ribba frame including the glass at the front (saves on dusting). the only rule was no glue so there is a fair amount of tape holding things in place.
And you mean a IKEA Ribba Frame? :o
How much are those frame costs? Thanks.
*Whispers, better than having a street of £1000 on your table ;)
But that's also beautiful!
My costed about £8 to make.
Heres how i displayed mine :)
Think I have 2700+ in my arena but that is an impressive display.
I saw your display there, you are impressively complete in a lot of themes!!
If I have to do another with the release of a series 9 I would do it in white, as I think it shows the figures off much better.
(it does normally have glass in the front-no good for taking pics!)
The other option would be to try a mirror for a background. Like the old style antique cabinets, so you can see the backs as well as the fronts.
Mirror backs would be a good option if you could get the correct size.
What do you think?
That is not a bad idea actually. I will give it a try when I have time!

(forgot to take pics from the last part while adding the white paper card)
I wanted to know if doing this is worth doing in you opinion. Cool? Is my avengers case worth using for other super heroes themes?
