Hashtag randomly not working

I just noticed this comment in the Polys in the Wild thread that uses the hashtag for set number exactly as one should - no weird spacing or punctuation nearby - but the script didn't make it a link. (Safari on MacOS 11.6.1)

"Was able to find #30584 at a Blain's Farm and Fleet in Wisconsin."

I've noticed that if I don't press "enter" at the end if a sentence it doesn't create a link when using Silk browser on my kindle, so might depend on what browser was used?
