10179 MF Radar Dish - real of fake?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121081573401
Is this genuine part or not? Sellers feedback is just for this one part. makes me wonder...

Similar case on BL and coincidentally from Poland again.

^I read on one of these threads (I'm thinking the UCS MF thread) that people are buying up all the expensive parts to sets. It could be real.

I ordered parts from BL to put together 2x 10179 about 1 1/2 yrs ago and at the time the rigging was starting to get expensive... no way I was going to pay $8 each! Got them from LEGO directly (I paid their price for them of about $1.50) and a few extra to let my daughter build an animal pen for her farm. Needless to say, the animal pen changed from grey to black and at the time I was happy to sell them for $14. If I had only waited.
I also thought ahead at the time and ordered a couple extra radar dishes as well, was happy to get about $20 for those. Who would have thought they would go to the prices they are now!

I guess that the point was that you could order several from LEGO while they were in production and if you put them in a box under your bed for a couple of years you could buy yourself a nice new bed!

Looks genuine to me. Pricewise it is not so misaligned (cheap) with new prices considering that it is listed as used. If anyone is bricklinking an MF right now i'd go for one of these if the photo of the listing is representative of condition for every one listed for sale. Do people (not TLG) have bother printing onto a curved surface on "custom" parts to knock up these? It would be great if someone like brickforge could knock up some LBG rigging without infringing copyright.

I have bought from that BL seller a couple of times. One time a part they sent was damaged, and they quickly sent a replacement part no questions asked. I would have no problem dealing with them again.

Looks the same as all others sold on BL, using the same picture. But, thanks for showing that, was getting ready to BL the MF, went and bought one.
