St. Louis is having a Comic Con this weeked. Tickets are pretty steep ($35-$45 per day). Wondering if anyone knows if TLG does things at events like this, or if the promos are only for the big ones in New York and San Diego. Anyone know?

St. Louis Comic Con is a Wizard World Con and there's no official Lego presence. That's not to say that a local group won't be there. One was at Chicago Comic Con last August.

The size of the con also has no bearing as Chicago Comic Con's attendance was larger than NYCC. For whatever reason (proximity, affiliation, media exposure), Lego only seems to market to certain cons.

For the record there was no Lego presence at C2E2 (run by the same people that do NYCC and Star Wars Celebration) last year either.

If I don't have to go out of town this weekend I'm thinking about coming down for it.

Lego only has a presence at SDCC, NYCC and SWC from what I've seen. They weren't at Chicago Comic Con and I doubt they'll be at St. Louis Comic Con (this is the first year for that one).

@wagnerml2 - No, I won't be at St. Louis Comic Con but I'm going to C2E2 in April and Chicago Comic Con in August.

There won't be an official LEGO presence at Chicago. but I think the Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club will have set-ups there again this year. Despite the name, the pictures I found from last year were dioramas were of original and movie/TV properties - but I didn't see a single train....

Nope, there wasn't a single train. Their Toy Story diorama was awesome though!

^ The Fifth Element cruise ship fight scene setup they had at their show in Dec was great!

I would love a set of instructions/pieces for that! One of my favorite movies of all time. I have lots of LEGO, but no talent.
