The Friends pencil holder was too small for my needs so I bought two sets then added extra height to the pencil bin using bright spring colors. I used a 16 x 32 base with 2 x 8 plates to make it 18 x 32. because the baseplate is thinner than the 2 x 8 plates I used cardboard from the back of a notebook to raise it up. Here's my upgraded version.
