We're looking for very generous Lego contributions for a HUGE new series we're making for Channel 4.

We wanted to film with around 25,000 bricks next Wednesday 20th March and if anyone did want to help we would be massively grateful.

A possible credit is also on the cards.

Thank you and hope to hear from you.

All the best!

If its such a HUGE new series, cant you buy your own lego? There may be generous people here that are willing to give to a good cause, but without more information and having just joined the forum, I cant see you getting any positive responses.

Can I suggest that you go down to Asda and buying 20+ sets, then when your done offer them here for free?

The only people who'll be able to help with that many bricks and at that short notice is Bright Bricks, http://www.bright-bricks.com/

The thought of anyone donating 25,000 bricks for a random, unnamed tv show is... a bit mad (and slightly ignorant of the value of Lego!)

But to be constructive, you might want to ask the chaps from Bright Bricks for some help - contact them via their website http://www.bright-bricks.com/

Not to mention the fact that for a TV show, 25,000 bricks isn't much and doesn't cost much.

Those can be purchased new for around $1,000, depending on the bricks you're looking for. Maybe 3 times that at most for large expensive bricks, but for a TV show, that is not that much money.

My BS meter is going off something fierce over here. Also, rather than having them "donated", why don't they ask someone to use their collection to showcase, and let the person get a nice little day of seeing the ins and outs of the "new show" as well as getting a credit, and then getting their collection back.

I'm doing a huge new radio show and need $2,000,000 worth of Lego bricks! Just send your Lego to me and you will not only be part of history but your name will appear in the credits as well!

^ I'd like to believe you prof, but I don't see enough capital letters in your statements to give it credibility.

Lego and C4 do not mix well ...

And with 25000 bricks, they must be going for a record.
