Change Twitter login into a user/password login?

Greetings. Is there a way to change my user name (bkpr) to change from Twitter login to user/password login? Teh interwebs in Malaysia is quite slow, so having to allow twitter to authenticate me each time I login is slow and frustrating.

I've tried to change my settings but I cannot add a 'new' password, because there is no old password registered. And I cannot make a new user because my username is already taken (by me).

Can I swap login details for my username? Can I delete my account and sign up anew with the same username but with user/password details?
