Hi all, sorry if this topic has been raised before, I have searched the site but couldn't find a match. Anyway, I live in the UK and have just used the European Amazon Shopper tool. To my delight I found that some siginificant savings can be found by purchasing sets in other countries. Before I commit to buy from overseas I was wondering if somebody could advise if the packaging / contents / instructions for each set is identical throughout Europe.

Thanks Joseph, but this thread is comparing European Sets with American sets. I was looking more for a comparison of European countries. Any thoughts?

In Europe, they are identical. They are all packaged at the same place, wherever that is these days: Klando, Czech Republic, or wherever.

You can shop at European Amazon's in confidence.

^^ Sorry I must have misread your post; as Huw says, they're identical within Europe.

One big difference buying on amazon and buying online from tesco, john lewis or argos is that amazon don't stick huge stickers directly on the box.
