Lego City Stories announced for Wii U and 3DS

Nintendo just announced Lego City Stories for their new Wii U system and also 3DS at their E3 press conference. Apparently going to be a massive open world game exclusively for those systems.

    I wonder if it will do any better than Lego Universe? I guess the use of the child friendly wii is probably a better platform than trying to get into the PC gamer market?

    I'm really not sold on the console from the reports, it's going to be about as capable as the current 360 and PS3, so given that in 2 to 3 years the follow ups to those will be hitting the shelves the wii-u will be outdated pretty darn fast.
    However once the kids see the glitzy advertising campaign Nintendo will no doubt put on, the kids will be sure to hound me into getting one come Christmas 2012.:/
