Hmm @Legoboy i'm really not sure if i like the idea of the opera for a big scaled model...let's pray that TLG will do better than they did with the architecture version!

Sydney's Opera House, huh? Good choice, good choice.

    Thanks for the heads up!

I was thinking a year ago this would be a great Landmark Large Scale Model. But when it came out in the Architecture line, I figured that meant it wouldn't happen.

I'll be thrilled to see this - I hope LEGO can pull off an inspiring representation. Also hope they don't cut corners - these sets are big and come out every 2 years or so - make it cost an extra $50 if you need to to get it right.

Notre dame or the golden gate bridge would be cool.

I agree a Globe theater would be cool or a Colosseum.

I'd love to see something Canadian. Perhaps the CN Tower?

If the CN Tower was done they would probably make it architecture scale like the Seattle tower :(

If you want Canadian I would go with habitat since it pretty much already is Lego... carlywilkiesteven.com/index/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Habitat-671-e1322536208456.jpg

It looks ugly. I hope they will show something more historical.

I'd like to see TLG create a St. Louis Gateway Arch set one day.

the problem with things like the CN tower and St. Louis arch is that, while iconic, they are quite boring and lacking in exterior details. the Taj and the London bridge, and to a lesser extent the Eiffel have a lot of places where the designers can add some neat detailing to match the source material, which makes for an interesting build as well as a nice display piece

the Arch and the CN would make decent architecture sets, but as a large scale model, they are severely lacking.

Perhaps if they were to do the CN tower, they could include the Rogers Centre with it. I'm sure there are enough baseball/bluejays/sports/concert fans who would love to add a stadium/arena or concert venue to their displays.

I think it'd be neat, since they recently released the CMF football player, to make a football stadium.

An extra bonus would be if it was Heinz Field :-)

The Chrysler Building with a bunch of chromed out pieces would look pretty cool.

And Saint Basil's Cathedral would an awesome looking set.
