Help exporting data from Brickset to Bricklist

Hi all :)

I want to export all the parts from a rare set (for example: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=2000415-1) to my wanted list in Bricklist.

I've read:

http://www.termstech.com/fun/HowToUseBrickLink.html

but it doesn't fit my needs, because in Bricklist you don't have the set 2000415-1 and others, then I can't download it.

I suppose that the idea is to export the Set/parts from Brickset and then import with a software or another option to Bricklink, but I don't know how to do it.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Are you aware that the tutorial you linked to is talking about Bricklink (http://www.bricklink.com) and not a Brickset Bricklist? Unfortunately Bricklink doesn't have that set inventoried (which maybe you know?).

If you are aware of Bricklink, and you're just mixing your terms, then I regret to inform you that Brickset doesn't currently have the capacity to export part inventories. It would appear that you're in for quite a bit of manual work.

    Hello rocao.

    Thanks for your reply :-)

Yes, I know that the tutorial is about Bricklink and that Bricklink haven't that set inventoried, that's the point. I thought that maybe anyone with the same problem have a solution.

Then, my problem is that Brickset doesn't export part inventories, I think that's a very useful function!

Anyone knows a database which Identity and Landscape Kit like brickset.com that let you to export/download the parts?

    Best.

I can add the ability to export a parts list easily enough but it won't do you much good because the part numbers and colour names used at Brickset are official LEGO ones and thus not the same as the made-up ones at BrickLink.

So, you'd need to do a lot of work to massage the export into a format suitable for import to BrickLink.

Nevertheless, give me a few days and I'll add it.

Parts lists can now be exported as a CSV from the 'Parts' tab on the set details pages. I have no plans to add BrickLink XML export because there are too many mismatches in colours and part numbers, it would not be useful.
