hey everyone. I'm trying to find out the total height of the USC Star Destroyer once built and on its stand (trying to work out of I have the space for it!)
Can someone who has the model measure the height from the bottom of the stands to the highest piece and let me know, please?

Thanks on advance!

Yes - it's massive. Do not underestimate the size of that beast. Or its fragility.....

Am I correct in assuming that since you didn't ask for it, you already have the length measurement or it's not a prohibitive factor? Because that's really where it's enormity comes into play.

Just started building this (only had it a year and only after packing away the falcon - took me 3 evenings to dismantle!), but only gone as far as the two "triangles" and one of the "wings". Suffice to say I can see it's not only going to be very imposing (don't think SWMBO will let me have it set up for too long) but the fragility of it is already evident due partly to it's size!

^ Just wait until you have to attach the lower surfaces using the magnets...... I suggest you don't breathe on it after that point. Or even look at it.

I remember watching a group of fellow Brickish buddies speedbuild this set some time ago at LLW. It's why my own is MISBags and will be for some time I'm sure.

Feel free to build it for NSC, @Martin - I sense some reluctance on Stuart's part....

Hey. Yes I know the length and width measurements because these are the only dimensions I could find on teh internets. I was asking for the height because I was going to store it under my standing desk: http://bartkowalski.com/2011/05/moved-to-a-standing-desk/

I don't think it'll fit there unfortunately. Fortunately though, I've found a much better place to put it — on its own stand, right next to the TV in the living room. Don't know what the wife'll say yet; I haven't told her about that position (and I haven't purchased the set yet — still trying to find a decently priced used model on eBay).

    Anyone interested in selling theirs?
