Does anybody know what it the size of the round plate within this bauble?
Thought it might be terrific to buy this plate albeit without the Lego printing for my other Lego baubles.

That's a great idea! I just had to go check our bauble with the gold bricks in it to be sure the ridge was there to hold the base piece in place, and was happy that it does.

Can the empty bubbles be purchased? Either on BL or [email protected]?

They had the empty baubles in the LEGO Store before christmas - I don't know if they are still there, but they tend to put everything away before new year.

They are no longer available on [email protected], but I do think they were there before christmas, alongside the ones filled with coloured bricks. The price was a little less than half of the filled ones.
