Hi All,

I started this large project to reconstruct these three beast sets (10179, 10143, 10188), however I've realized (after the tiny bit I've sorted), that I just don't have the time to go through all this and complete the sets.

Therefore, I've decided to pass the project along to someone who will be able to build and complete them!

You get ALL the pieces and instruction manual you see in the photo. So EVERYTHING in the photos, excluding the bins they are in.

I can't make guarantees on how complete each set is, however it looks like both Death Stars are either 100% complete, or near complete. Millennium Falcon is barely there except for a few stray pieces and the name plate. All the bricks are in very good condition, and I haven't seen any signs of damage.

On 10188, you can see I have started the build process on it. So far, I haven't run into any missing pieces. The instruction manual for 10188 is also included, and is in excellent condition.

Shipping:

FREE shipping to the continental US.
I will ship worldwide, however there will be an additional charge for it, which the buyer and I will discuss.

I plan on weighing all this tomorrow too, and will upload that number to this forum when I get it.

Please PM if interested!

I'd like to sell it all as one lot, however if you are interested in specific parts, I will split it up! I will update the forum post as items sell.

Thanks!

Samuel

If 10179 is barely there, I think the title of the thread is misleading.

@rocao- Wasn't meant to be that way, please change it if you feel it is misleading.

    Cost?

I don't have a specific price on it, please PM if you are interested.

No, but I'd be willing to throw it in for a few extra bucks. That set is almost complete, but no guarantees.

I'm a bit confused. Have you actually parted the pieces to each set? Or is this jn the 29lb lot you described above that you "don't have time to go through"?

@adammullins, I'm going to go ahead and PM you so that I can answer all your questions.

I'm responding to all PMs now.

I think they're legit questions for all. No need for pm and hopefully you can avoid some redundancy. I'm just curious how picked over this lot has been?

These are three pretty expensive sets - and sheer tonnage Alone is impressive - but I'm not sure if I'd be buying 29lbs of loose Lego with a few interestingnpiecesnthat suggest set x,y,z or if you actually owned these, built them and know them to be genuinely xx% complete?

The lack of minifigs doesn't bode we'll for the 10188 and god knows how much of the 10179 is there.

Simply put, I' don't want to buy your lot only to find out I have a ton of parts that could be something nice - but isn't - if you've already found that out yourself.

@adammullins- I only suggested PM to hopefully spare this forum some clutter, but am fine answering your questions here. Also, know that I would never hold back information on an item to try and gain more profit... that would be dishonest, which I despise!

I'll just try and give you the whole run through, and hopefully that helps answer any questions that you may have. If not, feel free to ask more!

I purchased both death stars on eBay. Seller claimed that they were both 100% complete. He also told me that he would throw in an extra set (the venator and apparently pieces to the millennium falcon as well). I received both sets in the mail, each in separate boxes (pretty poor packing, I remember that!). So in other words, they were already sorted out for me (10188 from 10143). I than took out the contents of each box separately and put them in separate bins. 10188 was alone, while 10143 was mixed in with the venator and 10179 (just a few noticeable pieces). I had purchased the sets for myself to build at the time, however that time got quickly wiped away, and I had to set them aside. I started building 10188 at one point and got about 1 and a half levels through before stopping at the time. They've been sitting in their bins, away from sunlight, for about a year and a half now.. until about two weeks ago I pulled them out to build them. It was than that I realized I had pieces to 10179 (which turned out to just be a plaque and a few pieces). I started sorting 10143, however after a number of hours I realized that I just wouldn't have time to complete this enormous project. And than I listed it on here!

So the basic breakdown of how complete they are:

I don't know, however the person that sold it to me said they were 100% complete (on eBay). I can say that I've built a bit of 10188 so far, and have had no missing pieces. So the sets are obviously there, and by the previous seller's words, are 100% complete. However, I never claim a set to be 100% complete when I sell it, if I have not taken that set and personally built it brick by brick.

I hope that answers your questions! If not, let me know!

    Again, prices for the lot:

    Willing to split it up.

    10188- $200
    10143- $350
10179 pieces and name plate- $145
    Venator pieces- $75

Or all, $625 shipped. PM if interested.

Pictures are above if you need them on the first post!

Isn't 10188 obviously incomplete since it only comes with two of the minifigures?

@jadeirene- Sold the figures separately on accident in a large lot a few months ago. So it was complete with figures (or so the seller told me), until I sold the figures! So I'm still assuming that the set itself, is 100% complete, however I can't guarantee it. I always look at the set and figures separately since I'm a minifigure collector. Also, I've stated above several times that the figures are not there, so we are only looking at the set here.. and the set should be 100% complete.

@Tevans333, yes, it is! I posted that when I found the 10179 plaque and large chunks of the venator and had just started sorting through the lot! However, turns out 10179 wasn't all there unfortunately :(
