Aaah, I think I should unsubscribe from the Amazon alerts, it's hurting my wallet... or not ;)

I ordered one and it came to €113 delivered to Finland .. will put away with my other trains :) Think I have about 6 now. Need a cheap Toy Story one though so will be waiting for the sales :)

Had my order cancelled. Not read why yet but I'm guessing it wasn't from Amazon and the seller wouldn't ship to the UK. Gutted.

I ordered two Maersks from Amazon.com and chatted to online help as they had reduced their price online a couple of days after (10 dollars each) and she said because it hadn't been shipped she could gladly reduce the price. I was told after by another member here that this was unusual but maybe worth a try if you haven't chatted yet OR received the order.

As I've written above I did request price matching in e-mail. My order was already dispatched at that point though, but the answer said that they don't do price matching generally.

(Ordered 20th, price reduced further on 21st, my order shipped also on 21st, and I noticed the further decrease in price on 22nd only. But noticing it a day earlier wouldn't have made a difference probably anyhow.)

City Link just delivered my Red Cargo Train. Slightly damaged outer box but the LEGO packaging couldn't be more perfect. Going straight under the tree :-)

these were in the 20% sale on saturday at Metro - 86.39 inc VAT.

picked up some cool deals (tax paid prices)

moria - 35 euro
jabba palace - 85 euro
ghost train - 41 euro
vampire castle - 59.50 euro

these were going for 128 euro:

every item was at least 10 euro cheaper than 3rd largest toy wholesaler in germany.

btw , JT32 , it's amazon.de offering them not a 3rd party. If you are ordering from abroad and your card details dont 100% match your order will get pulled.

Just thought I'd add that my train has arrived. What happened is I'd ordered a 10231 Shuttle at the same price as the Train but from an Amazon.de seller, the shuttle was cancelled and not the train. My german obviously isn't up to scratch.

really happy about getting the train at this price, especially now it's EOL.
