Discounts at Amazon. UI Inconsistency

leemcgleemcg Member Posts: 607
It is a small point, but it seems to me odd that when you click on a set name, it takes you straight to the Amazon page, in the discounts list.

This is a problem because a) there doesn't seem to be any link to the actual set on Brickset (so if you don't know the set, you'll have to type it in the search box) and b) it's a bit inconsistent. Elsewhere there are "buy" buttons and if I click on a set number anywhere else on the site it takes me to the Brickset page for that set.

Are you referring to the Bargain watch pages? If so, there's no need to perform a search. You can click on the thumbnail image to enlarge it, then click the more details link in the bottom left to get to the set details page.

Correct, thanks. The thinking being that we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get to Amazon :-)

I actually meant the news items. There isn't a thumbnail on those.
