I have just recently got bit by the lego bug again. I had a pretty impressive collection. i had actually managed to save all of my sets from when I was a kid...i'm 37...About 4 years ago my wife decided we needed to make room in the house. Now i have a pretty massive comic book collection and ab out 300pages of comic art. It takes up lots of room. So she decided it should be my big totes of legos. I was still active in my collecting. Mainly getting the Star Wars sets when they came out. She said it was either comics or legos and after she saw the prices the legos were getting online it was a no brainer for her. So I spent the next 3 days putting together all of the sets and taking pics. I had one more epic battle and then packed them up. $2000 in my account later and she was happy. Well now she is an ex and for all you guys on the fence....no its not cheaper to keep her...lol....Now I have the space and the money and when i saw the modular buildings I was done. So now I have the dream of building my epic lego city that I have wanted to build since I was 6....cant wait.

Know all about the Ex stuff. Mine destroyed a couple of AMT Star Trek models that I had built and super detailed... Hours of work gone. OH well I moved on and... well lets not get into what has happened with her.

Welcome back to the world of Lego and let hope these ones stay in the house for many more years.

They should....I have a 6 year old and a 4 year old that love helping me put them together and going to garage sales and flea markets looking for Lego's...I am a bit ashamed with my collection...I keep at all hidden in a spare room so my buddies and dates dont see them. Its one thing to have framed comic art hanging on the walls its a totally different thing to have a city layout taking up a whole room....Hmmm..I guess I just need to find me a lego lady to share my addiction with...hahaha...good luck on my part...

My Lego collection in out in the middle of my living room/office. I dont care if people know and frankly I dont really care if they think I'm too old for Lego or not. I am who I am (said like Popeye) and if they cant accept me for me then I dont need them in my life. Pretty simply philosophy really. SO that being said... Show the world what you do!!
