Just spotted the hobbit sets at Walmart. The sets 79002, 79003, 79001, 79000. Will upload pics later...

    These are all the sets I found at Walmart last night. This is in Austin on I-35/Parmer

    That looks like the display I saw in Tuscaloosa, Al on Saturday. Only 4 different sets, but at least some are available now from some Walmarts.

    Yup, same in NH today. $70, $50, $30, and $10. I couldn't resist the Bag End set, even at retail price!

    Yes! At least I know they are in Texas for sure now. I'll have to swing by my Walmart when I get home next week.

    Found these in western PA on wednesday. It's a shame they didn't have the goblin king set. It's also a shame the barrel escape set is an exclusive...I drove an hour yesterday after a TRU worker told me that they had them. Only to find the worker was referencing a LOTR set :(

    The stand alone square pallet display (1 side of each of the mentioned sets) were on display this morning Walmart Kokomo Indiana...This was not up yesterday, but they received a huge toy shipment last night (assuming) because they had 5+ people with pallets of toys filling the aisles and pitting multiple new displays...this was the only new Legos I had seen however they had not filled the lego aisle yet

    The Goblin King showed up at my Walmart today (wasn't there on Friday), but no other Hobbit sets :(. It scanned in at $99 or so.

    They had all the sets at my WM in Knoxville, TN at RRP. I picked up Bag End (don't recall the official name) and built it over the weekend. It is a great set. I like everything about it. Especially the dwarfs. 4 of 'em! :-)

    All the Hobbit sets are ~5% off at target (+another 5% if you have the red card)

    As of Saturday 12/1, Bend, OR Wal-Mart had Hobbit sets but Target and Fred Meyer did not.
