Matching rims to tires?

I'm looking at the online pick-a-brick site and I want to buy some matching rims and tires. I need rim 6014 but how do I know what tire matches that rim? Does 87697 work?

Should use bricklink to check those things. It'll tell you the size so you can tell and often they have part "assemblies" that include both like this.

I was trying that but searching 6014 on bricklink does not give any results. Why is it 6014b vs 6014 that the pick-a-brick site uses?

There is no functional differences, just an extra notch on the side, see pictures: 6014a & 6014b.jpg .

    According to brickliunk:
This Wheel fits with the following Tire & Tread(s):
    Part 6015 Tire 21mm D. x 12mm - Offset Tread Small Wide
Part 87697 Tire 21mm D. x 12mm - Offset Tread Small Wide, Band Around Center of Tread
Part 60700 Tire 21mm D. x 12mm - Offset Tread Small Wide, Beveled Tread Edge
    Part 56890 Tire 24 x 12 R Balloon
