Update: Sadly not being able to afford tracked mail, it was won at around £87.50 by someone in Macau. Very likely trustworthy, they were a polite and helpful member of Bricklink but they never received it and I am unlikely to get any compensation from Royal Mail. Lesson learnt: If tracked mail is too expensive, don't sell international.

I agree. If you cannot afford to lose it, make sure you charge the buyer to send it tracked.
