Hello from London

Hello everyone,
I recently received Jabba's palace as a birthday present and that really dragged me out from my dark ages. In just over a month my collection seems to have already crossed 10k bricks and this site really hasn't helped! :-)
Thanks to this site I have already managed to take advantage of both Argos and TRU 3for2 offers and my Star Wars and LotR collections have started to take shape. I'm now looking forward to going to Stratford next Friday for my first visit to a proper Lego shop for brick friday and I am thinking of taking the plunge into the modulars!

Welcome! Hope you like it here, despite the damage to your wallet :-)
Keep an eye out for any potential AFOL meet-ups in London too.

Thanks! Looking forward to getting involved with the community. I'd love to take part in a London meeting as well.

Welcome! You should run now though before your wallet empties completely. I came back under the guise of "buying for the kids." There is now Lego in just about every room in the house.

    Consider yourself warned!
