@blogzilly  this is the only info he seems to post re his set up which is purposefully somewhat vague.  Not sure this is helpful or not.

This was a fun little build with some great features #9463. My son's loving flinging his minifigs all over his town. Just missing that neat orange moonstone rock piece between the claws (okay, I'm missing like 3 other pieces for those who may have noticed)

Working on a local small downtown block in modular form

I love this. Are the buildings  facades or are they more like the modular series with "insides"? Either way, it is AWESOME!

It's a custom/modified version from the Indiana Jones set.

I remember that car! I think I used to have one, it was my 1930s car for all my historical MOC pictures!

I worked on a pair of Anothergols's excellent Nano AT-AT's. Plans available here if interested:
    http://rebrickable.com/mocs/gol/nanofigure-scaled-at-at-diorama

I made a few mods to include a new "face" for the head which turned out pretty good.

I like these so much I need to quote you so they show up again. Wow. I know what parts list I'm adding to my wish list on Bricklink. Those are simply perfect.

I'm not into the nano craze but Anothergol did such a great job that I could not pass up this wonderful build. It even has a light brick designed into it! These guys are "version one" as the designer has already upgraded it with different legs and feet.

    The Bat (WIP)

In 2014 LEGO released #76023 - Tumbler and following that in 2015 they released #5004590 - Bat-Pod. Now problem is we have one Batman vehicle missing from the collection, I intend to fix that. My goal is to design the 'Bat' in scale with #76023 - Tumbler and #5004590 - Bat-Pod sets.

Some of you may remember I mentioned I'll be building one in 2016 however it didn't go to plan. We'll see how it goes this year...

well i just like to say i am having fun building my £19.99 #75151 clone tank.
just finished the wheels and taking a brake.
as i built part of #76051 today. The Quinjet follow by Mr Big Fig. aka Ant Man. (yes i call him Ant Man, as that is his code name. no other super hero name changed when they use there powers, why the hell should his?) the control tower and all the other little bit's in bag's 1 and 2 of that set are still un-built. i do them some other day.

any how i built quite a bit today.
    dam the Quinjet is Small!
i will save any other building for a another day.

Finally finished the Brick Bank 2 bags.
last night I was looking for some parts available as Brick Bank extras. made me feel bad about ignoring the build. did a few steps and stopped. feels more involved than regular building. today I finished the bag so there weren't loose parts when I dusted.

have now finished my clone tank.
    am happy with it.
i do have to say. i would not have been as happy with it if i had payed anywhere close to RRP for this and i would be feeling out right Ripped off if i had payed the £109,99 Lego are asking for it now.

That's true of most sets anymore. Little value at msrp. At 50% off or greater though it's a different story

Thanks to @chrisalddin's Amazon tip-off I also spent last night putting together #75151. A quicker build than expected, for sure - somewhere in the region of 90 mins to two hours - but at 20 quid, who's complaining?

It's been on my list for a while, as I've got fond memories of the original from 2005. This one's a bit stockier, but my shelves at least appreciate the reduced size...

Finished (?) one of three of Brickwrights Y-wings. No blatantly illegal techniques until you get to the after-burner section which did require lots of cutting to make them look that good. As a side note, I was reading J.W. Rinzler excellent book "The Making of Star Wars". He has a great quote about the movie that applies to Lego building. (Paraphrased) " The movie wasn't finished, it was simply abandoned". That's the way my projects seem to go. Anyway, here are some photo's.

What did you have to cut? Can you elaborate?

Built the A-wing from #75150 Vader's TIE Advanced vs. A-wing Starfighter to be able to compare it with the #75175 A-wing Starfighter I put together a couple of weeks ago. Was very interesting to see how very different building techniques were used throughout the build to get to more or less the same result:

    Plus point for the #75150 A-wing: "only" 12 stickers vs 14 on 75175's A-wing...
Stickers aside, which do you prefer, I'm curious.

Also curious in general, why do folks hate stickers so much? I am starting to appreciate them so much more than I used to for what they can add to a build. I used to hate them because my sausagey ham fingers had issues applying them. I'd say in the past two weeks I've figured out how to apply them finally to where I've settled my sticker differences.

My one issue? If you apply, you've committed that piece to that sticker, and if you want that piece back, sticker must be destroyed.

Now...that would be true of a pad printed piece also, so would I prefer a pad printed piece? Sometimes but not always. Because sometimes I want that piece back and would be OK with letting the image go.

How do YOU feel about stickers? Answer when you post something you built, with or without stickers. Or not...;)

Built a bunch of stuff lately while I haven't posted. Went over the why in the Status Update thread.

This is the first Walker I've tackled. I'm not sure why I expected more movement in the legs. But I now understand why maybe it can't have that. But if I understood the joints that were available...

Currently building my recently-acquired Tower Bridge; snapping on 500+ tan cheese slopes can be quite monotonous! (Not to mention that you have to build the tower TWICE :P)

When posting photos of what we are building, should we spoiler the 'in progress' pictures, leave them out entirely or just shove them in? I mean, a photo of a finished build is likely less good than an official product shot, but I suppose seeing it in situ is helpful? Just trying to understand what people would like to see/ not see / see after making sure they haven't been 'spoilered' by a nifty parts usage or construction technique...

I think I like the one from #75150 best. The wings have about 90 degrees of movement, versus only 10 on the #75175. The wing canons are also much more elaborate on the #75150 one.

Regarding your other post on stickers: my main beef is that they are a pain to apply properly. I use 2 tweezers to apply mine, and this still does not guarantee perfect results. On the large/expensive sets, they often seem a cheap solution.

Example: they have now produced enough models with control panels on a 1x2 cheese slope, that by now their investment in a printed one would have paid of instead of us having to apply the **** sticker on such a small piece.

@stlux I had been using tweezers for a while but was having alignment problems and the pressure of the tweezers was affecting my ability to actually softly set one corner or side. I now use this all the time.

By setting the sticker on the edge of the blade I can lay the sticker more easily. If I lay it wonky the blade is sharp enough to lift a section up without ruining it. So far I haven't sliced off a digit, which is a good thing.

About to get back to the MOC Batcave.

Been watching my newly bought Batman Original TV series Blu Ray set for inspiration and a better look at Wayne Manor/Batcave than the film afforded me  some things keep moving around a little from episode to episode (instrumentation).

This is one of my fave cars, loving TLM stuff I've picked up of late. Late bring the operative word for this party. This is the car from #70819 Bad Cop Car Chase. All the stuff in the back is built but not shot. Gathering dust though....argh.

I'm totally with you on that! I've got a number of TLM sets and the vehicles are just great. The chunky 4x4 from #70808 Super Cycle Chase is a particular favourite.

I greatly enjoy stickers and think of them as part of the fun of the building process. As a young kid I didn't really have the hand-eye coordination to apply stickers myself and had my dad apply them for me (it didn't help that there were so many STAMPs back then), so when I was old enough and confident enough to apply them myself it was very satisfying. Most of the time I apply them by hand, and I've gotten pretty good at it.

I do have some pet peeves involving stickers, though. For instance, I really dislike when LEGO puts round stickers on a piece with straight edges, like the Classic Space stickers on the tail of Benny's Spaceship. I generally use the edges of the piece and sticker to line that up, but when the edges aren't the same shape you can't do that.

Something I think gets lost in the "prints vs. stickers" debate is that there's a third option: no decoration at all. And realistically, if LEGO stopped using stickers entirely, it wouldn't mean prints replacing everything that would've otherwise been a sticker. Rather, we could probably expect fewer decorations in general, with highly individualized decorations being some of the first to disappear. Also, I think some people underestimate just how much printing LEGO does still do. It's just that a lot of that goes into increased detail and variety on minifigures, which people sort of take for granted since stickers on minifigures have not been common since the early days of the minifigure.
