I made a few mods to include a new "face" for the head which turned out pretty good.

Plus point for the #75150 A-wing: "only" 12 stickers vs 14 on 75175's A-wing...
It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!!!
well i just like to say i am having fun building my £19.99 #75151 clone tank.
just finished the wheels and taking a brake.
as i built part of #76051 today. The Quinjet follow by Mr Big Fig. aka Ant Man. (yes i call him Ant Man, as that is his code name. no other super hero name changed when they use there powers, why the hell should his?) the control tower and all the other little bit's in bag's 1 and 2 of that set are still un-built. i do them some other day.
any how i built quite a bit today.
dam the Quinjet is Small!
i will save any other building for a another day.
It turned out surprisingly stable - regular tests by a heavy handed two year old helped refine that aspect - and the 2x2 turntable it's mounted on spins really well. It kept us both out of mischief for an hour or so this afternoon anyway :)
last night I was looking for some parts available as Brick Bank extras. made me feel bad about ignoring the build. did a few steps and stopped. feels more involved than regular building. today I finished the bag so there weren't loose parts when I dusted.
am happy with it.
i do have to say. i would not have been as happy with it if i had payed anywhere close to RRP for this and i would be feeling out right Ripped off if i had payed the £109,99 Lego are asking for it now.
It's been on my list for a while, as I've got fond memories of the original from 2005. This one's a bit stockier, but my shelves at least appreciate the reduced size...
My one issue? If you apply, you've committed that piece to that sticker, and if you want that piece back, sticker must be destroyed.
Now...that would be true of a pad printed piece also, so would I prefer a pad printed piece? Sometimes but not always. Because sometimes I want that piece back and would be OK with letting the image go.
How do YOU feel about stickers? Answer when you post something you built, with or without stickers. Or not...;)
This is the first Walker I've tackled. I'm not sure why I expected more movement in the legs. But I now understand why maybe it can't have that. But if I understood the joints that were available...
#30523 The Joker Battle Training.
Regarding your other post on stickers: my main beef is that they are a pain to apply properly. I use 2 tweezers to apply mine, and this still does not guarantee perfect results. On the large/expensive sets, they often seem a cheap solution.
Example: they have now produced enough models with control panels on a 1x2 cheese slope, that by now their investment in a printed one would have paid of instead of us having to apply the **** sticker on such a small piece.
By setting the sticker on the edge of the blade I can lay the sticker more easily. If I lay it wonky the blade is sharp enough to lift a section up without ruining it. So far I haven't sliced off a digit, which is a good thing.
Been watching my newly bought Batman Original TV series Blu Ray set for inspiration and a better look at Wayne Manor/Batcave than the film afforded me some things keep moving around a little from episode to episode (instrumentation).

I do have some pet peeves involving stickers, though. For instance, I really dislike when LEGO puts round stickers on a piece with straight edges, like the Classic Space stickers on the tail of Benny's Spaceship. I generally use the edges of the piece and sticker to line that up, but when the edges aren't the same shape you can't do that.
Something I think gets lost in the "prints vs. stickers" debate is that there's a third option: no decoration at all. And realistically, if LEGO stopped using stickers entirely, it wouldn't mean prints replacing everything that would've otherwise been a sticker. Rather, we could probably expect fewer decorations in general, with highly individualized decorations being some of the first to disappear. Also, I think some people underestimate just how much printing LEGO does still do. It's just that a lot of that goes into increased detail and variety on minifigures, which people sort of take for granted since stickers on minifigures have not been common since the early days of the minifigure.
