It's 40% off right now at Amazon. Saw it today at my local Best Buy at full price. I was curious and went to the MB site and it shows as retired (all Star Trek sets show as such).

I have never own or even touch a MB set before... while the set looks good in pictures, I'm not planning to start now. Did download the instructions for "inspiration". (a MOC like that is way out of my league though).

Finished my modular based on the Arkham Asylum from the LEGO Batman movie.  Went with dark red so I could use some of the profile brick.

started work on my #75059 it's a ok size, for it price i have imaged it as being a little bigger.
anyhow i am done with bag 9 and when i go back to it next is bag 10. :p
still it a fab build and part from the track at the bottom i am quite enjoying the build.
(304 odd track part's) linking all them up was anything but Fun.
building the 1st wheal frame was fun, the 2nd less so, the 3rd the fun was dying. the 4th the fun had left, so the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th. was hell. still i understand that part like that are needed, even if building them can get repetitive.

Gotta say, the Galaxy Squad Hive Crawler is one of the most interesting things I've built in the past year of getting back into LEGO. Highly recommended.

I havent built a lego technic in a long time, but the legs mechanism in the hive crawler may be the best I've seen.

this new arkham asylum may look better than I thought. I guess replacing the white roof parts would help the original quite a bit.

Now, it's on to piecing together an AT-AT and an X-Wing!

The missing bottom turret bothered me as well. Overall a nice Falcon, though.

I often tweak a build based on what pieces I already have, so I know the feeling.

I finally got into Star Trek late last year, and now I want those MegaBlocks too. Maybe I'll buy one of the smaller sets to get a feel. The only others are Bridge, (mirror universe) Transporter Room, Guardian of Forever, Day of the Dove and Klingon D7. D7's are comparable to the Enterprise (Constitution-class) but this one is at much smaller scale (351 vs 3098 pc) - maybe I'll play with it like a Bird-of-Prey.
Besides figures, there are enough special pieces/prints that I won't try to build them out of LEGO

I got a S16 Rogue as a gift and got out, arranged and photographed my current army, along with S15 Frightening Knight. I changed some parts for variety and to sell CMF pieces. It makes sense to deploy the melee troops in front of the ranged weapons. Blue looks odd, but it's the only large enough baseplate I had handy. I'm using some green 32x32's for mosaics and a checkers board, which I could put on blue to free up green but moving all those pieces would be a pain in the neck...err, thumbs.

Currently working on a scarif layout.  Finished product will be four 48x48 base plates with beach, more cargo areas and landing pad for Krennic's shuttle.

The hive crawler is probably one of the most enjoyable builds I've ever done. It is ingenious in design and a total aha moment comes when you do the final assembly of the legs. Also, it is incredibly creepy with the clicking of the legs. Just a perfect set.

Hello everyone, I've just joined and this is my first post so please be gentle! I've just finished his beast, managed to pick it up for £174 in John Lewis which I think it's worth, the £250rrp initially put me off. Very cool build, took my time on it and enjoyed it immensely!

if you know there is a inner courtyard quite a big one at that then the size dont surprise you, never been inside my self. but i know other member's of my extended family have.

i did go to Hampton Court Palace with my school many many years ago. that was a nice day trip.

^ Not wanting to go too far off-topic but Hampton Court is arguably a better destination than Buckingham, based on what's there and how free you are to wander around. You are rather constrained at Buckingham, although my son and I got to use the palace bathroom there as he had a problem with his gastrostomy and it couldn't wait until we got to the end of the tour where the visitor loos were.

I'm current adapting #76057 into a railway bridge, using as little extra material as possible. This is my test version - I have another copy which will form a second span once I'm happy with this one.

So far I've only got as far as moving the deck out slightly, increasing the overall width by one stud each side to allow the track to fit down between the existing plates. I still have to raise the tower up (as there isn't enough headroom for most of my engines underneath at the moment) and work out how to rearrange the chains accordingly, as well as cosmetic changes to the bases and properly fix the 'swing out' section so that it looks the same as the rest of the bridge.

@MaffyD Go for the Caterham. I'd love to see that built. Nice BP. I'm loving the Architecture line myself. Tried to get more from the LEGO Store, they were sold out of a bunch. The manager told me the theme was super popular right now.

I started yesterday evening the Technic crane truck 8258 from 2009. It was still sealed on the shelf in my LEGO room. That's a really good set very pleasant to build. All the functions and the parts inventory seem excellent.
After finishing the Porsche 42056, i carry on with the same designer Uwe Wabra...

@josekalel All builds are interesting, for different reasons. I think that's a great piece. Wish I had it.

Been shooting every bag stage on the Slave 1. Showing a couple here. Last photo is as far as I am right now. Have to stop for a while. My son had an episode, he hasn't in a while, but it resulted in his throwing a bunch of bricks. Some I can't find so I have to try and replace them. Consider Slave 1 on indefinite hold.

I'm halfway through the Fortrex. I like how, although it's a symmetrical build, it doesn't feel repetitive, and the tank treads were really fun to put together. I was a bit surprised, though, that it didn't really feel stable until halfway through the third bag - it was as if the archway piece over the drawbridge was a millimetre too big and parts of the towers on either side kept trying to ease apart; whenever I fixed it on one side it would start to go on the other, like something was in tension somewhere. Of course that wasn't the case; the second half of that bag seemed to solve the issue incrementally and it's fine now, but I wondered if anyone else noticed the same thing?

not that i recall then again i did build it about 1 year ago.
i do recall it being a fun build :) NEXO KNIGHTS for the win!

I actually notice that on a lot of LEGO builds. I sit there thinking "How the heck will this stay together!" and then bam it does. I also think sometimes that designers purposely reverse or turn things in instructions so you can't quite see the big picture until you get to certain points, kind of like a reveal.

part of my Sandcrawler was like that.
and it was the part you go to grab it by, when you pick it up to move it.
by the time the build was finished you can pick it up by that part now, but mid build, it's a bad idea.

Despite having a reasonable backlog of sets to build, today this one jumped to the top of the pile.

This is one of the few ships from the original trilogy era that I haven't had the pleasure of building before and I loved it.
Even the stickers that are wrapped around the white half cylinders on the engines didn't halt my enjoyment of putting this together.
My only complaint with this set was with the back pack that is built for the Moroff figure, it's way to heavy and to get him to be free standing you have to bend him over so he's constantly looking at the floor or lean him up against something, but all in all it's a minor gripe on a really well put together build.

Spend the better part of yesterday painstakingly recreating Gare de Lyon in LDD, so eventually I can Bricklink the parts. It'll be replacing the old Glacier Falls Train Station (shown below), which sadly is not as elegant.

Yeah, I've been picking it up by the very part that seemed the frailest/most reluctant to click in and it feels incredibly stable! It now has pride of place on the coffee table and we've been having a great time testing the various ballistics. :)

#41180 was fragile a couple bags in, a problem with stopping a couple bags in.
Maybe there are artistic reasons for drawn out instructions, I figure many little steps are handholding for the intended audience of kids

I got 5 more Rogue recently and developed my army besides just assembling those. I'd already changed some parts. I got out shields to go with swords or short spears. I was able to match colors, which looks really sharp. Nexo shield holders without the tiles don't look too futuristic.
