    ^Those lights are awesome!
I can't remember where I got them from, but they are about 1cm square, and I have stuck them on the ceilings with a sticky pad. No wiring and they need to be switched on or off individually but they do the job.

^ Seeing mechs like that Atlantis mech & the recent Ninjago mech make me want to MOC my favourite mechs from the Mech Warrior games I used to play.

    @blogzilly
The skin on my hands is also cracked, I'm outside a lot even in winter and today they were itchy for an unrelated reason. This doesn't make it particularly hard to handle LEGO but can still hurt. It's hard to heal skin on joints, moving the skin and dislodging what you put on it. With hands, the ointment etc gets messy and LEGO is one thing hard to do hands free.

Just built this with the instructions.

My pictures are usually resized to around 800x600 resolution, and most of the time I resize on PC and post there as mobile phone is a bit more troublesome to resize for posting.

@blogzilly I've been wanting to get Poe's X-Wing, but haven't been able to get it at a good price, but that one looks nice anyways! Good shots.

Received the #30522 polybag from @BrickCreator yesterday and just got around to building it:

@josekalel yeah, #75149 Resistance is cheaper than #75102 Poe's, $54.99 vs $62.99 on target.com. They're the same size, both have BB8 and Poe minifigs, the difference is the color scheme and accessories (75149 blue/light bley with enemy ground forces and Lor San Tekka, 75102 orange/black with ground crew)

@blogzilly since I'm also looking to buy that glad to see how cool it works. I see you also accept multiple Star franchises.

@KingAlanI indeed, I am looking to find a decent deal on the MegaBLOKS NCC-1701. Not as good as LEGO might do it, but the Enterprise is often like sex and pizza.

I assume @blogzilly means the saying "sex is like pizza - when it's good, it's great. when it's bad, it's still good." and a licensed product LEGO doesn't have is a common reason to buy clones.

@stlux I know you have mentioned a minimalist approach before, but that desk is spotless compared to mine!
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
@TheOriginalSimonB For me walking into my office room at home and seeing that desk makes me go AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ;)

There's also a #6285 Black Seas Barracuda on that desk at the moment (out of picture; on the left of the Master Wu Dragon). What annoys me the most is having to move things around to be able to do anything. But all will be well once construction is completed on the house and I have my dedicated Lego room :)

One of the odd polybags I've found at Walmart, and by odd I mean that I'm sure it's a return from another store, since when the bag was scanned it didn't show up at all. Very simple build, but not enough for me to consider it a 'true' car, but good enough to populate my ever growing unincorporated town.

^ That does look really cool. Congrats on finishing! I'm glad I can live vicariously through your pictures so I don't need to look into building it for myself.

Also, did you build this on your floor? I can find some online instructions for a UCS Table if you would like.

^A lot of those USC Table pieces are really hard to source though

Floor. no way for a table with enough space for all those boxes of parts... for the small boxes: i even ran out of available ones while sorting all 13 orders in. those stacks of boxes in the background of some pics are my lego central storage. also: you don't see any FUBARs in the progress pics, but they exist. Somehow a few errors slipped thru BL and a 6x14 plate managed to go into stealthmode and hide completely until finish.

You missed your window on that one. Amazon had it 60% off over the christmas holidays. Don't know if it will get that low again. I passed even at 60% off, because mega bloks.

Well, I've recently built as MOC using pieces mostly from Kopaka Toa of Ice, and Stormer  (Brain Attack). I also have a few pieces from other varied bionic leg sets... And then went and build a coupl more to give it company...

Is that the Mega Blocks 'Need For Speed' garage being used as a stage? Looks good either way. Currently building the WV sets.
...........Yes it is unfortunately. I saw that set at target clearanced for $9 and thought to myself "concert stage!" Man those mega blocks are junk though!
Yep... Never really liked MB, it's no wonder why TLG has tried to sue them several times!

Sometime last week I promised @MaffyD that I would be building #75175 A-wing Starfighter sometime "next week". Technically there's still a couple of hours left of "next week", so guess what I'll be building today:

I believe Brickright is a EB user and the Y-Wing was one of his MOC's.

Correct. Brickwright is the creator of this Y-wing MOC.

Looks like Ecto 1 to me - the proper one, not the one from Bintbusters.

Pretty much. Love Trek, haven't been able to find a MOC of the NCC-1701 with instructions. Thought maybe I could use that to learn how to do one in LEGO or just use it. Hate MB figs.

I also also want to see a Galactica. I've contacted a dude on Flickr who has a gorgeous one about buying files a couple of times. I've eaten static. I get the hesitation in today's world.

    And @chrisalddin names the set!
Funny fact. Complete coincidence that the film is on while I'm building London. It's like I'm re-enacting the film in reverse! When I realised, I had to post here. Hope you didn't mind. I could've always posted this:
