I was was my hands way too much. I did already, and now while building and it being winter my skin feels like a lizards ass. My fingertips split sometimes too. The only option I have to heal them is to use liquid skin, which is essentially a modified modeling glue. Works.
Some stuff I've been working on until I started hitting the Resistance X-wing late yesterday . Should finish that up later tonight when I'm not watching the lad so intently.
I seriously need to set up a photo space and lay off the apps. Carried away much?
The skin on my hands is also cracked, I'm outside a lot even in winter and today they were itchy for an unrelated reason. This doesn't make it particularly hard to handle LEGO but can still hurt. It's hard to heal skin on joints, moving the skin and dislodging what you put on it. With hands, the ointment etc gets messy and LEGO is one thing hard to do hands free.
My pictures are usually resized to around 800x600 resolution, and most of the time I resize on PC and post there as mobile phone is a bit more troublesome to resize for posting.
Finished my very first X-Wing last night. Resistance, not Rebellion, so it was a bit strange, but it has me wanting to:
A) Build a Y-Wing
B) Build the UCS X-Wing I bought
C) Not Return the beefed packages of the U-Wing and Slave 1 and queue them up too.
D) And God bless Mommy, and Gramma...wait...what?
@blogzilly since I'm also looking to buy that glad to see how cool it works. I see you also accept multiple Star franchises.
And need to have the inhabitants of my Lego City (once my Lego room is built) properly terrorized!
(Apologies for the messy desk)
There's also a #6285 Black Seas Barracuda on that desk at the moment (out of picture; on the left of the Master Wu Dragon). What annoys me the most is having to move things around to be able to do anything. But all will be well once construction is completed on the house and I have my dedicated Lego room :)

Also, did you build this on your floor? I can find some online instructions for a UCS Table if you would like.
You missed your window on that one. Amazon had it 60% off over the christmas holidays. Don't know if it will get that low again. I passed even at 60% off, because mega bloks.

I also also want to see a Galactica. I've contacted a dude on Flickr who has a gorgeous one about buying files a couple of times. I've eaten static. I get the hesitation in today's world.
Funny ... I'm building it as well... stage 132 . Page with a little trivia on building's dome :)
Here's the less cryptic clue:
There is a common theme of undergunned Snowtroopers assaulting Rebels. One gun versus the Falcon seems a bit of a fool's errand.
And I'm short a 'Hyperdrive' sticker for the second copy...
Now, it's on to piecing together an AT-AT and an X-Wing!
Funny fact. Complete coincidence that the film is on while I'm building London. It's like I'm re-enacting the film in reverse! When I realised, I had to post here. Hope you didn't mind. I could've always posted this:
