Here's my Ultimate Spider-Man showdown scene of all the various Spiders versus the gallery of villains. Was real difficult to take a good picture though.

@BrickDancer that looks great! I already have the Bugle, and have been wondering about getting the bridge...now I really want it.

Finally decided to spend some time building #31052...it's a great build and it looks amazing.

On a ranting note...am I the only one that's somewhat annoyed by the lack of quality control for the instruction booklets? I understand in the near future we'll only have them online, but still...

Colors aren't consistent, and in one of the first few pages, pieces in color blue were displayed as purple in the same page...also, distinguishing between some colors is a bit difficult sometimes. Maybe it's just me.

@ecmo47 That was just a thought; I was thinking of how things 'might' be in the future with LEGO. I mean, I'm sure paper instructions will never go away, but I would be OK to have e-nstructions (see what I did there?) than deal with more paper and the need for more space to put them away (and this is coming from someone who can't let go of physical media such as paper books, CDs, and blu-rays).

I honestly think LEGO should push for biodegradable bags and for people to recycle the boxes. IMO, of course.

On-line instructions could save Lego quite a bit in costs but I'm sure that there is a significant market (South America?) that does not have computer access. Lego would would not want to miss out on that.

And now back on topic (sort of). I'm taking the Nebulon-B to a small comicon in Wilmington, NC tomorrow. I built this case to transport it. Hopefully it will survive the journey!

Had to do it! I can only admire it so much at home. I've got a decent shop so making the case was not hard for me to do.

That frigate is amazing. Is a parts list available to look over before buying the instructions for 50 bucks? Not that I think that's a bad price, but I am so far from having the parts I am curious what it might take to get there.

And the colour reproduction is usually poor onscreen (I have a very good monitor which is correctly set up). When I bricklinked my UCS MF it was hard to distinguish DBG from black going off the PDF on computer, until I printed the manual out at work and put a fiver in the charity box.

LOL. What blows my mind is that I have a higher percentage of bricks to build the Frigate than I do on some other official LEGO UCS Star Wars sets I'd been looking into trying, even with my measly inventory. I'm guessing MOCs maybe use less hard to find parts? Or some designers try to anyway...

I hope you are correct as it  may be a pleasant suprise when i start searching my bricks. Lego do seem to try to use a number of unique and hard to find parts in their sets. Probably to try to stop people building them themselves..

Blogzilly: The Neb has 5738 parts split up into 531 lots. The rarest "should have" part is 4424 LBG barrel. I say "should have" because you can sub in part 64951 but you would have to paint it because it does not come in LBG. You should read the thread on Eurobricks where Neb builders discuss problems, challenges and parts substitutions.

Just out of interest, I had a look to see how many parts I would need build the Nebulon-B and was quite surprised that without my sets, I have 58.4% of the parts needed (subbing LBG barrels for the Light grey ones I have).
As I still have a few outstanding bricklinked projects to build and am in no rush, I might add what parts are required to a seperate wishlist and take the slow and steady approach to get the rest of the parts required as and when I place other orders.  
Surprisingly, I'm only missing 482 parts if i ripped my sets apart to build it, but that  isn't going to happen because I'm weird like that. :)

Continued Brick Bank number 2 bags. Also did #30396 . I put the minidoll in my #41105 audience MOC and decided to use the food cart as a concession stand. It's a small build, so I assembled it by looking at the picture, the first time I've done so.

As for electronic instructions, that could be a problem even if you have access. Phone screens can be hard to use for various large projects. LEGO building (especially big models) might be something to do away from a computer or while experiencing technical difficulties.

They do, depending on the set and it's target age range. Ninjago and Elves instructions tend to have more parts per step than City and Friends instructions. Creator Expert sets often have a whole lot of parts per step at certain points in the build — Brick Bank has an average of around 9 parts per step, but some steps have 30 or more!

Older sets are often upheld as having more challenging instructions than newer ones, but older sets tended to use a lot of extremely basic studs-up building, fewer colors, and very little Technic, so there wasn't as much room for confusion in the builds themselves. There were even some classic sets with printed studs on the baseplates specifically to simplify building.

LEGO has great pride in the clarity of their instructions, so while they certainly care about not wasting resources, making instructions clearer is not necessarily a waste in their eyes even if it means more steps/pages.

I plan to build #31036 Toy & Grocery Shop and #31050 Corner Deli in it. 

EDIT: To the right it's gonna be Palace Cinema, and to the left, the Pet Shop.

Will try to build from collection & see how close I get to #6970 Beta-1Command Base. Have the gray antenna but not 2 crater plates, & HAD the blue wall panel but it went missing after I loaned my LEGO to my nephew yrs back.  :(

That's my favourite set of all time... :-)

I have to say though, that the crater plates and monitor screen wall are fairly crucial to the whole set... ;-)

Seems like a weird thing to buy from Lepin, since the real deal will almost inevitably end up on clearance if it isn't already. I don't exactly foresee a lot of people rushing to buy up all the remaining stock.

Built the Scooby Doo Mystery Plane set last night, which was great fun. Lovely colours (I am still not over all the new colours Lego has now), and it's so nice to finally have one of the poseable horses, and the Headless Horseman's jack-o-lantern head! Might need to do a Sleepy Hollow MOC for next Hallowe'en...

i only need axl's Tower thing from wave 2 to complete wave's 1 and 2.
some day i will do a display of all my nexo knights set's in 1 place. (when i have the room.)

if you had told me 3 years ago, that i would get all the set in a Lego Knight themed set. i would have called you a nutcase.

How did you find the Black Knight Mech build, @chrisalddin? I've been reluctant to buy it because of the price and because I felt it would feel repetitive after doing the King's Mech...

the only part that you have to do 2 times is the Leg's and the upper arms.
and even then there is no more repeat then some of the other set's out there.
he's a big boy to.  i found it a fun build.
the little builds are cool to. the cage mini build will go well with #70323 when i get round to building it. and the evil horse *bike?* thing  is cool, and you get whiperella, as well as black Knight Robin. Price on the other hand. lego have it at £39.99. and Toys r us have it at £31.99 i remember it being priced up at £49.99 at one point but it look's like Toys R Us have cut that crap out. and now have it RRP at £39.99 as well.
it is limited to TRS and Lego so £31.99 is not a bad price. i payed full price for it some weeks ago when i when on the trip to the lego store. the same day i picked up the GBHQ. my advise? get someone to buy it for you for Christmas. there, now you have a Free lego set. :P
